  • Well made, comfortable and durable.
Color: Rock/Bluestone Size: 5.5
Well made, very good quality.. Comfortable and light. Merrell makes the best walking shoes and they last a long time. I have several Merrell shoes in different style.

  • Good!
Color: Rock/Bluestone Size: 11
Very high quality, good, sturdy grips for hiking. Did a 4 mile hike on first wear and my feet did not hurt and no blisters. No break-in period needed. Look great and nice, long shoe strings. Definitely recommend.

  • Great for hiking
Color: Black/Bluestone Size: 8
After 3 hikes I can officially say these are awesome! They fit true to size. I had to get used to the "spread" as they are a wider base in the toe area and allow your foot to naturally spread more than a typical tennis shoe. It took a little getting used to but overall there was no "break in" period needed. They keep your foot secure and have the support and feel of a hiking boot without the movement restriction of a boot/high top. ... show more

  • Perfect lightweight flexible great traction.
The media could not be loaded. Expectations met After hiking in my Merrell Mids hiking boots past 2 years close to 300 miles on them I decided to stick with what I knew worked and fit me. And I’m glad I did these couldn’t be closer to what I expected from Merrell. Perfect for warmer weather on the trails Super flexible good traction light breathable material but yet enough protection and sturdy to be a good hikers not to mention stylish they have a wide toebox area and the heel part really hugs your heel (also helps keep out debris)if it wasn’t for that it Kind of feels like I’m wearing sandals hiking compared to my boots. they’re so light. First hike in them was 7mi with creek crossing no problem just kept on hiking they hardly got wet on inside set them out with the early morning sun dry and like new within a hour they have a waterproof version but I figure since these are so light and are made out of mesh (mostly)some foam (heel area)they would dry super fast and they do no point in paying the $30 extra for waterproof. Only thing is where the tongue is sewed on underneath when you wear no socks the seams scratches you when putting on but don’t after tounge is adjusted. And whatever that material is that overlays the mesh? It doesn’t scruff or scratch easily and repels water. the mesh also repels water and debris. I would say unless you’re going to submerge them they’re pretty water resistant nothing is waterproof. They’re made small so I’d say stick to the same size if you own Merrells and you don’t plan on wearing thick socks. if you don’t have Merrells go up a half size than what you usually are. For 90 bucks I’m very happy with them I’m going to put them through a lot the next couple years and I am sure they they’re going to hold up just as much. I’ll add pics soon! Update! Here’s pics and a motion sickness video😉 of first hike In review. Have done about 55 more miles still nothing wrong I would have more pics of them a little more beaten up and used but they’re in the car that’s where they live! Update October 2023 OK so after breaking them in good, with about 100 miles on them now. And I had hoped to get a couple hundred more out of them, which is not going to happen, hoped to use them to start trail running in this fall that is not going to happen either. They just are not holding up .I can only get 4-5 miles in them before they start hurting my feet! Had I have gotten a bigger size maybe I could’ve had room for a gel insole. That would defeat the purpose of what I was looking for. Where as my Merrill mids boots I can still do 16 miles in them still easy! Maybe Merrill should just stick to boots. ... show more

  • Good fit
Color: Black/Bluestone Size: 8
These fit my foot, high arch & a few crooked toes, and are comfortable. Lightweight, just right support for easy to moderate trails. Comfortable to have on all day. Held up great in washing machine.

  • Support and style
Color: Aluminum/Boulder Size: 8.5
I walked 4 to 6 mi each day on an international trip and these shoes were up to the task. Stylish yet supportive. No break in was necessary! I often lean toward foot pain or some plantar fasciatis, but these shoes kept those issues at bay.

  • Excellent for walking
Color: Rock/Bluestone Size: 7
These shoes are workhorses. I bought them for a vacation in Europe that would require several miles of walking daily. I felt supported and my feet were comfortable and allowed me to walk 5-7 miles a day without rubbing, blisters or arch pain. They’re nice looking, seem more like a sneaker and aren’t big and clunky. Oh and these are my second pair as I previously purchased them as a work shoe. ... show more
