My normal shoe size is 7 however Amazon suggested 7.5 for the Moab 3. I ordered both sizes to be on the safe size. I kept the 7 and will be returning the 7.5. I don't like thick socks but prefer Smartwool thinner socks, which could be why the 7 was the better fit. A little too much room in the 7.5 which caused rubbing around the ankle. Wore these around the house and no issues. Haven't hiked in them yet but they seem sturdy and good soles.

I have never purchased shoes successfully online in the past. Before ordering them I tried the shoe on locally to confirm the fit and size. I was so happy with my online purchase that I ordered a second pair a few days later. I have the shoe in taupe and smoke. Both colors look great. I could not pass up a great deal. The shoes are true to size and well-made, the foot bed has a medium bounce, and the toebox is roomy. I recommend these shoes.

Frankly, when I read the rave reviews about these shoes, I was skeptical. I leave soon for a three-week trip to Europe, so 'thought I'd take a chance. SO GLAD I DID! My regular size 10 fits perfectly. I'm 75, and have some knee and toe issues; however, I've worn them all day for the past several days and if anything, I'm more comfortable than on bare feet. My slight hammer toes do not chafe in the roomy to box, the arch support is just right, the lining of the shoe is soft enough, and best of all, the lower backs hug my somewhat narrow heels but causes NO heel chafing. Did mention a great value for the money? I'm one happy customer.

I have worn Merrell in the past for walking on rocky wet trails and the traction was great. My first pair was a size 11 B width, and for my feet then they were not quite wide enough, however, I loved the comfort of the shoe and had them for a couple of years. This time I purchased them in an 11Wide. I have extra toe room to prevent jamming toes walking down hills, and my feet are able to spread out. They were (both pairs) super comfortable right out of the box. Thanks Merrell for making a great shoe

I've kind of been in a rut with Keen shoes, but I got two pairs of Merrells a few years ago and they've done great. So I tried these as a "durable everyday walker" since I put in a lot of miles walking dogs, working around the yard and doing various tasks at my job. I'm on my feet most of the day, so I need something that provides good support. They've got great traction soles and they are comfortable right out of the box (although I imagine I will be using my orthotic insert at some point). Cushion is decent and the structure is great, good width and the toebox isn't tight. They are a nice looking shoe all around. I haven't worn them in extremely wet conditions yet, but they are doing fine in wet grass as far as water resistance. For people that put some miles in, these are comfortable shoes that stand up to off-road conditions, variable surfaces and pavement. Will definitely be looking at Merrells in the future instead of just going straight to the Keen store!

I found I didn't really need much of a breaking in period for this hiking boot! It fits perfectly - like a glove. Merrell's shoes and boots are generally very good for your feet - they pay a lot of attention to orthotic fit. I generally wear 7.5 sized shoes and these were the perfect fit.

I was concerned this shoe would not have enough toe room, but it does, I can wiggle my toes! Amazon recommended the 7.5, which is my normal size, and they work perfectly. I have tried them on with 2 different socks, thin and medium weight, and they both work.

Went into a major retailer to find the correct size, and then ordered these boots on Amazon for a very good price. They stood up well during a river hike, and then dried out pretty quickly for day two of our adventures!
