I love these shoes. I've had them for several months now and the fit is perfect and true to size. They are comfortable on long hikes. The support is good in them and they have good traction when walking rocky areas. I like them better than the Accentor style. These have a better fit.

It's so comfortable for me not soft. also It's like higher and little bit smaller than other size. If you use smart wool socks or hiking socks , I recommend one size up is better. Really cute and reasonable price.

We had an upcoming trip to Hocking Hills in Ohio and I needed hiking shoes. These Merrell shoes were $40 cheaper than the same shoe at DSW. They have an excellent arch support and are great for hiking the rocks and cliffs at Hocking Hills. Will use these again for a cruise excursion hiking the Mayan ruins. I am getting ready for a trip with a lot of walking and hiking. I headed to the closest national park to test these out and was so pleased with the comfort. The cushioning was my favorite part. I bought these for light hiking in rainy weather. I stood in a puddle as a test and my feet stayed dry. I wear a medium-wide size 8 and these are true to size. They’re a bit stiff so feel clunky on the street. When I walk in uneven, rocky trails they’re steady and supportive. Only 4 stars because the footbed is hard. This is my third pair of Merrell. I had purchased size 8s (Deverta 2 & another pair of Merrell made for REI) and enjoyed the fit and comfort so I ordered the same size for my first pair of Moab 3. The shoes were MUCH wider than my other Merrells so exchanged them for a pair of size 7.5 for a better fit. Even the size 7.5 pair was wide, the right shoe was even wider than the left so it felt unbalanced when I wore them. I am returning this 7.5 pair and will look for another model. Sigh. (Note, I bought the Aluminum color in case there is a difference in the sizing for the other colors.) ... show more
