Summer = sandals/flops, winter/snow=waterproof snow boots. For everything in between these have become my shoes. They still look good after 3 years--bought them in 2018, though I do avoid wearing them in wet weather just because I want to keep them pristine looking (wet spring and fall = breathable, water-resistant hiking shoes). I live overseas and was thinking about changing it up when I come to the US and shop again, but as I was putting them on this evening I was thinking, "Why would I? These look good, they're comfortable in the right places with the right arch support for me (10.5 true to size). Why not be like Steve Jobs and just keep wearing the same thing just because it works?" Have seen some who bought theirs more recently complain about quality issues. Not noticing it on these and have worn them a fair bit over three years. Hopefully Merrell is still putting out a quality product.

I want to like these. They look cool, they’re comfortable. I’ve worn them for hours of walking around cities and on rough roads and they were great. However, within weeks of wearing them they’re already showing wear. The rubber trim pieces are peeling off. You can also see they were made cheaply, slightly asymmetric, just shoddy. Not what I expected from Merrel.

I got these for my guy’s birthday. He wears Merrell active shoes that tend to have a snugger/more hugging fit but has been looking for a nicer looking shoe that isn’t dress but isn’t sport. He said there was no break-in process and they are comfortable (not too narrow) on the toes and give decent arch support and no wiggle or aggravation on the heels. These look great and fit him in the same size he gets in his other shoes.

These shoes are just simply beautiful in person. Very well made. Stylish. These are everyday dressy casual or date shoe. If your gonna hike, go hike, head to the gym, go for a walk. Still put jeans on and go out for the night

Absolutely love these Merrells. I got them for travel so I could travel in them and use them in the gym (not running). They look real good and true to their heritage, so comfy!! I ordered another pair in different style and they just arrived. I’m gonna get one more in the leather sneaker. Super happy!
