This dress is quite nice, and it is also really comfortable. The fabric is thicker than I was expecting, but I'm pleasantly surprised because due to that, it's not see-through at all. It's thick enough that I wasn't freezing cold in it, but also not overly warm. It's not super heavy either, which is a plus. The color is nice and true to the picture, and it fits pretty well too. My only issue is that it doesn't have much support in the chest area, even with a bra, and it is a bit long on me but I can fix that. I normally have to with dresses regardless. It's very stretchy and I don't think it will shrink in the wash. Perfect for parties. For reference, I am 5'5'' about 200lbs and got this in Navy XL. ... show more

This dress hits all the buttons - it is flattering and sexy while still being comfortable. The ruching in the middle hides any problem areas. The fabric is soft and flowy and is very comfortable to wear - fitted without being constricting. The top has an elastic that helps it stay up. The slit hits at a nice spot - shows some leg but unlikely you’ll be flashing the goods on the dance floor! The straps are actually versatile - you can wear them several ways besides what is shown in the listing (see attached pics!) The only con is it could be a bit longer. I am 5’5 and with bare feet the bottom skims the top of my ankles. However, I didn’t take any starts off as that is exactly how it shows in the photos. I just prefer a little longer. ... show more

Nice dress. It's okay. The material is thin and silky so it shows yours curves. That being said since I'm not exactly thin, you have to be careful if that's going to work for you. I ordered an XL and it fit fine. For reference I'm 5'6", 155 lbs. Sizing was okay, but very tight and it wasn't the most flattering since it was tight and hugged my curves, showing all my flaws. I can't agree with the other reviewers who state it is flattering. Maybe if I was a size 6, or if it was larger, different material etc.... but as a XL size with my body, I looked pregnant. This dress looks stunning in person! It has a very elegant style to it. It's definitely worthy of any special night out or even prom! There are several options for the straps. You can see in these pictures my daughter chose to do a cross style around her neck. It looks very nice and she said it's comfortable. The dress itself is comfortable and the material has a soft feel to it. It's the kind of dress that makes you feel special wearing it. I love this dress in red - it is stunning! The material is very stretchy which makes the sizing very forgiving and it's a dress you can actually move around in - yay!! The only thing that I struggled with was the sinching on the back of the dress. In person it is much more aggressive and covers a decent portion of the backside making it so that it must be positioned just right otherwise the center seam doesn't line up or it is accentuating your back and not your butt. ... show more
