This MEROKEETY strapless floral maxi dress is elegant, comfortable, and very chic. I am 51 years old, 150 lbs, and ordered a medium. While the dress fits well, it has plenty of stretch, and I could have comfortably sized down to a small for a more fitted look. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and flattering, making it easy to move in while still feeling polished. I got the blue women’s floral strapless maxi dress because me and my husband will be attending a few formal events this 2026 summer and I wanted a formal dress that is affordable and easy on our pockets to clean and maintain. This dress fits the criteria that I was looking for as the dress looks good in person just as well as it shows in its advert. I did order a few sizes up because I never know what to expect from imported clothing ordered online. Based on the fit (from ordering two (2) sizes up) I would say to stick with whatever your true size is as there is stretch in the dress. The dress is a strapless, tube, maxi, mermaid dress and it is floor length on me. The dress is lined with a inner opaque slip. The dress is made of 95% polyester and 5% elastane with a 3D flowers print. There is an elastic gripper strip at the top of gown to hold the dress up. I like that the dress is stylish and fashionable but is machine washable. I won’t have to worry about shelling out money dry cleaning the dress. I will wash it on gentle cycle (by itself) turned inside out and in a large sized lingerie laundry bag to prevent the flowers from getting snagged on anything in the wash. Overall, the material and construction of the dress (the seams and drop of the mermaid part of the dress, the choice of the fabric to make the dress, and the floral pattern) is of quality. When I saw mermaid in the description of the dress, I was skeptical of what I would get and the actual look of the dress as I thought mermaid dresses were played out. But I guess I was thinking more about the early 2000s types of gowns or dresses with the tight costume sweetheart bodice and shiny fabrics. This dress is in no way a vintage or ole school cut type of mermaid dress as the mermaid hem doesn’t start at mid calf or below and is more structured and less dramatic as the ole school mermaid gowns and dresses of the early 2000s. This dress is a more in fashion and modern cut mermaid dress. Overall, the material and pattern and design is of quality, to me. The fit is fine and I’d say it is true to fit with a stretch to the dress that will hug the hips. Because it is a mermaid dress the cut can be flattering on different body shapes. The dress is versatile in and that it could be worn to a wedding, or formal type of dinner party, or dress up party, or dress up or formal outing that ladies are wearing flowing fancy type dresses and you will fit right in without spending a ton on the dress and its care and maintenance. Considering the cut of the dress, the quality of the material, and the care of the dress (as you won’t be spending a lot in keeping it clean and ready for the next event) the value of the dress is more than reasonable to me as I can wear this dress to more than one type of event and look like I spent a lot on the dress. ... show more

This dress is fantastically comfortable and stretchy in all directions! I am 52 years old, 5'8", 195 pounds and wearing a size Large. I think it fits perfectly but not tight at all -- in fact, I want it to feel a little tighter for a dress of this style so if I had to choose between sizing up to an XL or going down to a Medium I would go down to a Medium. I am usually a Large or XL. At first I was going to write a bad review because I thought the top "rolled" and showed the rubber strip (see photo.) BUT THIS WAS MY ERROR! After my husband circumnavigated me and made sure all the way around the rubber was against my skin it stayed in place perfectly. So before you think this dress is rolling on the top, make sure you get a friend to go all the way around you ensuring the rubber is correctly in place. This dress is beautiful, classy, and VERY comfortable and a bargain at twice the price! If you need a black tie or other very fancy dress this is a fabulous affordable option. I am surprised at how nice and comfortable it is for the price. The material feels thick and heavyweight (in a good way). I love it! ... show more

The MEROKEETY Floral Strapless Maxi Dress is absolutely stunning! The brown is a beautiful neutral color that makes me look tanner than I am. The floral pattern is done using some sort of ribbon and looks amazing in person! Each of the flowers has a different style which makes this so unique. The outer layer of the dress is a stretchy mesh fabric, I am concerned about it getting caught on something when wearing out and getting picked, but will try to be careful when getting close to objects that could risk the dress. This dress does not have a zipper, I had to shimmy myself into it, which the dress is stretchy enough that it wasn't a problem. They top of the dress above the chest has some grip to prevent the dress from falling down throughout the night. Onto the size of the dress. I am 5'6" and the dress skims the top of my feet, perfect length for me to wear flats or heels that I want to show off. I typically wear a 12 in pants so got the size large and it fits like a glove! It is form fitting without being too tight that you can see my belly button in this dress. I love this dress and cannot wait to wear it out for an event we have coming up. ... show more
