I bought these for my husband to wear in his brother’s wedding. My husband is a Conversr and Vans guy. That’s it. Never do his feet venture into other types of shoes. However, little bro is getting married and the wedding party got a strict dress code including the link to these shoes. I just KNEW this was going to be drama - bc Converse and Vans these were not. However, we opened them and while they do have a strong smell, they look fantastic, and he actually LIKED them. He put them on and I would be lying if I didn’t include that he may have even had a skip in his step. He looked fancy and he said he felt like someone with great style. After I picked myself up off the floor from shock, I convinced him to take the shoes off so we don’t have any mishaps in them prior to the wedding. He said they feel great, are true to size, and well, he likes them! If you can convince a non dress shoe wearer to like dress shoes I think that the product speaks for itself.

These shoes are not going to last forever, but for what you pay for them, they are great. I’ve worn them several times and I am astounded at the quality of them for a shoe that was less than $35. I have much nicer shoes but these look fine and if I was in a position to only need shoes a few times a year, I’d buy these. I bought several pairs for other people, some had odd blemishes in the leather, but it wasn’t a big enough concern and they still look great.
