I've used these once today for SUP and they worked well -- easy on, easy off, quick drying. The soles have a harder rubber so it made walking on pavement comfortable, unlike some of the more sock-like water shoes. I will warn that they seem to run on the larger side -- I'm usually a sz 11.5-12 mens in Nike / Brooks. I ordered a sz 12 and they were too large -- I had to return and get a sz 11 which are still *slightly* large but I needed to use them so I just went with it -- they worked fine and for water activities I guess it really doesn't matter that they are a little big. I'm happy with this purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a water shoe. I had the flimsier sock type that I bought in a beach shop and they lasted maybe 6 wears and ripped -- they were also never very comfortable. I'm looking forward to this, which is more like a Keen / TEVA type sole. ... show more

Perfect! I'm usually a men's 11.5/12 but I saw that these ran big so I went with a size 11. Fit great and there's still a little room for bigger feet. Posted a pic of the removable insole. They will eventually wear, but can easily be replaced. So far, they are very comfortable on my feet and supply enough cushioning where I don't feel like I'm walking barefoot. This water shoes are true to size, at least in the 17's. I've worn them a lot fishing and around the house. I really like them, and will get more.

I used these in Maui for beaches and inside my swim fins for snorkeling. They exceeded expectations in both cases. They fit my wide feet perfectly at my size. They do collect sand but are easy to clean out. I really liked being able to wear them while scrambling rocks to and from snorkeling areas, and just leaving them on while I snorkeled, protecting my feet really well. They are very grippy. On the downside, the color faded quickly in the sun and saltwater, and I would occasionally get the stretch laces caught on rocks because they flop around a bit - not deal breakers for me. Very comfortable for the most part. They dry very quickly. The sole is very than and you do feel everything you step on. The shoes tighten up very good with the pull strap.

These shoes are better quality than anticipated and could be used for barefoot hiking as well. They made my 13 yr old son happy and that’s not always easy when it comes to shoes and clothes. Used them for a week at Lake Superior beaches, which are known for being rocky and cold. Also ran them through the washer and dryer when we got home - look brand new!
