These are as advertised as water shoes , and the elastic needs to be tight. I wanted to try them as a trial for a barefoot shoe. Good idea, but did reorder a larger size, and pulled and popped the stitching of the elastic as it was too tight for me. I do not have a real wide foot. These fit snuggly. Length is as advertised, and upper is stretchy, but the elastic binding was tight on me. Serves the purpose for the price.

My daughter went overboard. deliberately, and said that one of hers was about to fall off, but she got it just in time. I bought 4 pr at the same time and all were perfect. I purchased for an upcoming trip. The shoes fit snuggly. Maybe a bit smaller than expected. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I will take a back up pair on vacation just in case these become uncomfortable as they are so snug.

The shoes are fine, comfy, and work as expected. I enjoyed them a lot. However, I bough them in May I used them twice a week (roughly, sometimes not at all) and by October they are completely worn. The soles are fine, the canvas/plastic is fine, but they lost the wire thread that sew them together. Kind of disappointing. Considering the quality of the materials if they made the rubber soles a few millimeters wider, then the cement of the bottom of the pool would not wear the canvas and they would last longer

Why did it take me so long to buy water shoes??? Not stepping on questionable items at the beach or in a lake? Yes please! I wore these swimming, canoeing, and paddleboarding. You can walk around on anything in these! Hot sand, rocks, tree roots, broken shells, whatever. Got my normal size and they fit fine. Not too loose, not too tight. I'm never going barefoot outside again, probably.
