Really love this produce and it fits great! It can be adjusted to fit really well and is super comfortable. The faux leather is flexible and you can move around in it easy, and the fabric is super soft and durable. I wasn't expecting it to fit well considering I'm female and the product is made for men, but it can be adjusted to fit just fine! Only issue I have is that it came folded in a way that the leather was creased in the middle, but that can be fixed with steam, a hairdryer, etc (plus the way my costume fits together the bottom of the cowl hides the crease) so not a huge issue ... show more

Looks great, and the fabric is stretchy enough to tie off the lacing on the sides and put it on without being worried about tearing it. Haven't had issues with anything but the ends of the laces starting to fray aggressively, but I've got them tied off so it's not an issue for me. That being said, the faux leather arrived folded in on itself face-to-face in two places and aggressively creased in such an ugly way... I'll be wearing this for hard sparring so that's not an issue for me, but cosplayers looking for something pretty will want to be careful because you'll probably get yours packaged the same way. ... show more

The sizing is accurate (my husband is about 5’10” and 190lbs, size large which is what he usually wears) and the waistcoat is adjustable, but that was the surprise. It comes with laces for you to lace each side, so while convenient if you want a looser or tighter fit, it also creates a gap in material. This isn’t the type of piece you want to wear without a shirt underneath! Or maybe you do, but hey, now you know going in. I went with the size I normally wear (L) but it’s a little big. It really worth the trouble to and it back, so I’ve found workarounds for that. Also came with a noticeable crease in the chest piece, but again, I crease up more places to make it look a little more weathered.

I have mixed feelings about this. The sides are open, so it's pretty adjustable in terms of sizing. I think it looks better than I expected from the previews - I didn't realize it would be velveteen.
