I don't even think the leather is real leather and the inside section where you would put your cash looks like some kind of cheap nylon material, so I'm not sure how long this wallet will last. Even with nothing inside of it, the wallet doesn't close all the way when there is no pressure on it from being inside your pocket. The outside of the leather is well crafted. It should last a long time. HOWEVER, it will NOT stay closed. There is no way I can give this to my husband and expect him to place it in his pocket. Poorly done.

My elderly Dad still carries around the same leather bifold wallet he has used since the 1960s, literally. I can't believe it has held together that long because it stands 3" tall when sitting on a flat surface. He has way too much stuff in it that is just obsolete. For example, he told me during a recent visit that he has a Firearms License for our state in it. I asked him to look at it and tell me when it expired and that was in 1980. But he also carries multiple credit cards in it and that's what really concerns me. If he were ever to lose that wallet, I would have to close every credit card account he has open. Plus, he has back pain, and sitting on a 3" wallet on one side can put unnecessary stress on his lower back. So those are multiple reasons for me to search for a replacement wallet for him. When I found this Mens Leather Wallet Front Pocket Bifold RFID Blocking Wallet With ID Window, I thought it would work well for him. Even though he doesn't understand the RFID Blocking technology, I do and I know my Dad is still going to insist on carrying multiple credit cards in this new wallet. That ID Theft protection attracted me to this new wallet for him. I also like that it is designed specifically for carrying US currency. And since it has multiple card slots, he can still carry 3 or 4 credit cards as his "security blanket". He says that it feels like genuine leather and he likes how it feels. That's important or he won't use it. Honestly, I didn't expect much for 10 bucks. But this wallet has delivered more than I expected. I just need to keep checking every time I visit my Dad to make sure he is still using it. Since he's 94 now, I know he has to get into a routine of using something new in order to not go back to his old ways of doing things. And if he does stop using this new wallet, then I'll help him empty out his old trusty wallet and just put the cards and cash in it that he really needs to have with him when he leaves the house. So far I'm pleased with the value this wallet provides at this price. Just keep in mind that it's only $10. If you want a superior wallet with more bells & whistles, just save up your money and purchase one that does everything you need. If my Dad does go back to his old wallet, then I'll just take this new one and start using it since my current wallet has no RFID protection. ... show more

At first, I wasn't sure about this wallet, but I've come to like it. It's made of nice leather and has a lot of card holders. And so far, it's held up well. The only thing I don't like about it is that the cards all slide down to the same level on the tier so I can't see the card behind the previous one. If they would stand a little higher like my older wallet, it would be great so I could actually see which card is behind the first one. ... show more

I expected to love this leather wallet...but I'll say I like it instead. First of all, inside its attractive packaging is a handsome wallet. The design looks good at first glance. But take a look at the photographs on its Amazon page. The wallet doesn't close fully, even with no bills or cards added to it. Anytime you see the wallet closed, it is being held closed by a model's fingers. Leather stretches over time, and I expect if you loaded cash and cards into it and used it for months, it would begin to sit in a closed configuration. The outer leather layer, is in fact, a double layer with some level of padding between the layers. This adds to the bulk of the wallet. Most people don't list bulk as a feature they are looking for. Another oddity for a full-size bi-fold wallet, there are only seven card slots in it. In the bill section, there are actually three sections. One is a full zippered section that is a little hard to operate. The other two are open dividers, perhaps one for bills and the other for checks, or perhaps two country's bills in separate sections. The description says the wallet is made for the size of American currency. However, bills fully-inserted into the bill section, seem to peek out a bit at the top of the wallet. I can't judge the longevity of the workmanship, but at first glance, the wallet seems well-made with the exception of it's inability to sit closed. Somewhere in its Amazon description is the word, "minimalist." I'm not sure this word is an appropriate descriptor. It is a full-size wallet, but the only thing that is minimalist is the number of card slots. The wallet is inexpensive, has RFID protection, and comes nicely packaged as though it will be given as a gift. ... show more
