I ordered these in black, in size 10—which is my usual size—and they fit exactly as they should. I put them to the ultimate test right away: I wore them straight out of the box to a wedding, all day long, without any “breaking in” period. My feet survived completely unscathed, which is rare for me. They didn’t overheat my feet either, and that’s a real issue I often run into with dress shoes, so these earned bonus points for that alone. The shape looked a little wider than necessary toward the heel when I first unboxed them, and I wasn’t sure what to think, but once they were on my feet, everything settled into place comfortably. The lace-up closure made it easy to adjust the fit, and the soft interior lining kept things relaxed even after hours of standing and walking. I also have to mention the packaging—it was carefully arranged and surprisingly elegant. It made the shoes feel more premium than the price would suggest and would make these a very giftable pair of Oxfords. Style-wise, they strike a nice balance: clean design, smooth upper, and that classic square-toe profile that gives them a modern edge without being flashy. They paired well with formal attire at the wedding, but I can see them working with business casual outfits, jeans, or dress pants for other occasions. The outsole felt steady all day, and the traction was reliable enough that I never felt unsure of my footing. For something at this price point, they deliver strong value—comfortable, versatile, easy to maintain, and polished enough to elevate an outfit instantly. All in all, these passed my real-world test with flying colors. A sharp-looking, comfortable pair of shoes that didn’t let me down when it mattered. Five stars.

I got these shoes as a surprise for my husband. I confess my dog has eaten a few of his dress shoes. I love the style (I picked them out after all) but the quality, comfort and fit are all there. Tough decision on the color, they're both great. In the end, I would recommend these. They're good shoes.

These are a really nice looking pair of shoes. They look like leather, but I don't think they are, and there are no labels identifying the materials. The interior has a nice soft lining. They re flexible and comfortable. If the outside holds up, this will be one fantastic purchase.

These dress shoes certainly excel in terms of aesthetics and comfort. They possess a sharp, attractive appearance that immediately elevates an outfit, easily passing muster in professional or formal settings. Crucially, they also feel good on the feet, offering a comfortable fit that makes them easy to wear throughout a typical workday. From a visual and comfort standpoint, these are a solid choice for a versatile dress shoe. The main concern with this pair lies entirely with the construction of the sole. It has a notably hard, plastic feel which compromises confidence when walking on challenging surfaces. I would be hesitant to wear these in inclement weather or on slick, rough concrete, as I suspect the lack of grip could lead to slipping. While the overall look and feel of the upper shoe are great, potential buyers should be aware that the material used for the sole is a distinct functional weak point. Good value for what they are.

I bought these shoes for my son because he needed a nice pair of shoes to wear to a formal event. He tried them on, and they fit good. I was impressed by how nice they look. They seem well made, but he doesn't wear them enough to know how they would handle every day use. (Although I think they should hold up well.) They aren't a pair of tennis shoes, but they seem fairly comfortable for what they are. I am pleased with them for the price. They will definitely serve the purpose I bought them for.

The media could not be loaded. Do I recommend these Men’s Dress Shoes Lace Up Formal Oxfords for 45 bucks? No, I don’t. While they’re somewhat comfortable and "look" OK, they feel flimsy and will probably fall apart quickly. I normally wear a men’s 7.5 wide, but since these don’t come in half-sizes I ordered an 8. They fit my wide feet, but the extra length makes them feel awkward, with a lot of room in front of my toes. One of my pics shows my size 7.5 sneakers as a comparison. The heel fits snugly, which is nice, but I don’t expect that to last given the overall durability. The fake leather is very thin and already started tearing around the lace holes on the first tug as I tightened my laces. The soles are another issue. They’re hard thermoplastic, extremely loud, and almost sound like tap-dancing shoes. My video doesn't really do the sound justice, but might give you an idea. Your presence will be known depending on what surfaces you're walking on. The soles also offer very little traction (compared to cheap sneakers or even better quality dress shoes), especially on smooth surfaces like tile, which is disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend these. Honestly, you’d get better quality (and likely a lower price) buying dress shoes at Walmart, which says a lot, especially considering I hate Walmart.

I wore these dress shoes to work during the day and to a fundraiser at night and not only did they look great with my slacks and suit jacket, but they were surprisingly comfortable. Honestly I was a little concerned that they wouldn’t be comfortable at first because I didn’t think they’d have good arch support, but while wearing them all day they were super comfortable and my feet still feel great after taking them off. It even rained most of the night and my feet didn’t get wet and the sole wasn’t slippery at all - great grip. These shoes are an excellent value, are well made and really look good. What a great pair of shoes.
