It was easy to install so that the openings are on the sides. One review said it was a solid piece that opened on the ends. It can easily be installed so that the openings are in the middle. The one thing I don't like about it is that to look really nice it would require many hours of Ironing. I washed it and put it in the dryer with all the anti static anti wrinkle settings in place and it came out still very wrinkled. Thankfully my 10 year old does not seen to care. It seems to be holding up well as far as the ties keeping on the rails goes. Tying all those things is pretty labor intensive, but worth it for a happy kid. Colors are not quite as bright as the pictures but it is still nice and not see through. The top definitely has to have the holding strings that cross in place or it would fall right in on top of a person.

The media could not be loaded. I love the end product of this. It looks so awesome and I love how it's all black so it's really dark inside with the lights off. This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen I wished I had one as a kid. Only down side... Was very difficult to assemble even though it seems like it'd be easy. They give you string and plastic tiny shower curtain hooks to connect to canopy bed rods. However.. mine and almost every single canopy bed I've seen and used has had square rods. So the only option was to use the strings and it makes the curtains not slide as easy. So I invested in some extra large curtain hooks that make the curtain slide easier and it worked real well. Also.. the top part of the canopy.. the dust cover ontop.. does not fit. As you can see in picture, there's a rip in the front corner of the dust cover. Wish it ripped in the back so it wasn't visible but if I were to move it, all 4 corners would rip apart. I think the top was made for a twin and the rest of the curtains were for a full bed which is what I needed. All in all, it's actually really freaking cool and my kids love it. Like an indoor bed tent. Plan to mount a TV inside as well. I would forsure recommend for people with kids that love to hide and have their own personal space when you don't have much room.

The media could not be loaded. I love this set & that It came with the lights. It's very relaxing when in bed, and when falling asleep. The flaws are, too long, sags at the top and, it's full of wrinkles. The top cover just doesn't fit very good and, a larger size is way too big. It's quite thin, material wize but, its a good thing if you want them partially closed, so you can have air. I recommend this set but choose the size carefully.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune and I loved the patterns, I got the dark navy blue one and have it on my queen bed, the hooks did not fit my frame at all so I went to the dollar store and got a pack of shower rings, no big deal. An extra dollar? That’s an easy fix. I sleep during the day and the fabric isn’t a black out curtain by any means, but more of a room darkening. Either way when the sun is up my bed with the curtains down is dark enough to sleep in comfortably. I added plywood to the top opening of my bed under the top sheet of the curtain so my kitty would stop falling through. My 2lb cat jumped onto the canopy and snapped some of the strings in places, but again, for the money I paid it was fine. A little needle and thread and it was good as new! Don’t expect some grand canopy you’d see at the Queens Palace but it’s not a crappy piece of cloth either. For me it’s perfect for the price I paid!!
