  • Affordable Quality
Size: 8 Wide Color: Black
I love these shoes. I’ve been on the search for affordable barefoot shoes that function well for a while now. I’ve come across various types, the lace up, the slip on, the elastic, etc. the issue I often came across with the lace ups is that, in order for the shoe to fit well and not slide around, the laces would hurt the top of my feet sometimes make that area go numb. The issue I’ve come across with elastic is that the elastic would loosen, shred, or just stop being elastic, plus the bit of elastic is just annoying. The issue with some slip ons is that they tend not to grip your foot very well when moving around. And finally, ones that are “really good” are way too expensive. What is love about THESE slip ons is that they slip on with ease because of the high/fluted heal tongue. They also fit very comfortably with a sizable toe box, yet they don’t allow your foot to move around too much inside the shoe. And the best part, the a that they don’t cause the tops of my feet to hurt and go numb. Oh, and they’re AFFORDABLE. Would buy them again. Added bonus: they’re quite grippy. ... show more

  • Great as indoor shoes that can be worn outside if you need to. Feel like slippers though.
Size: 12 Wide Color: Dark Grey
These seem well made. They're comfortable, slide on easily, and work great as indoor shoes, which is what I bought them for. I wanted something that would be comfortable indoors, but I could wear out to the driveway or whatever if need be. I've never worn them out 'n about and probably wouldn't buy them for that purpose because they feel and look a bit like slippers to me. ... show more

  • Comfy shoe
Size: 12.5 Wide Color: Dark Grey
Very easy to put on. Wide foot bed lets toes wiggle. Bottom is very flexible.

  • Not Wide Enough
Size: 13 Wide Color: Black
The width states that the toe box is wide. It's not nearly wide enough for a barefoot shoe. It doesn't give the width of the shoe, other than an illustration claiming it's wider than wide shoes. It's no wider than regular wide shoes. I need at least a 4E width. These are 2E max. But it doesn't say. That's not good enough. Shame because I really needed a hands free barefoot shoe. But one that is actually wide. Waste of money. ... show more

  • Not quite minimalist shoes. Minimalist quality and comfort.
Size: 13 Wide Color: Black
I'm a decently sized dude (6'1" 235) with rather big flat feet (13.5 EEEE). I've had leg issues from my flat feet for years, and was always on a search for something that would help. A few years ago I tried the minimalist shoes things, and I've done great - I've been very happy with minimalist shoes, and it usually keeps me happy. I wanted a pair of slip-ons - so I purchased these - and I regret it tremendously. I've worn many types of minimalist shoes, so my complaints regarding comfort aren't related to them being minimalist shoes (just poorly designed). Although they are supposed to be minimalist shoes, there is padding in the back and underneath the heal - leads to a lot of cushioning that I'm trying to avoid, and it affects fitment. The soles are also much too thick - so you don't feel the ground beneath your feet, and it requires more effort to flex the soles. THE GOOD: Wide toe box - this is what saved these shoes from being rated 1 star. The toe box is quite wide, and that portion is quite comfortable. The design is as pictured - not amazing, but it's fine. You can slip on - the rigid piece of plastic means you don't have to bend over to pull them on. THE BAD: They're not minimalist - there is way too much cushioning around the heal - this leads to a lot of play and movement around the heal when you're walking. The rigid piece of plastic is angled backwards, making it easier for the heal to slip out. The pieces are all glued together - looks like it'll fall apart without too much time. There is a flimsy piece of plastic holding the fabric up around the toes - after less than a mile walking it started to fold in - leads to a weird wavy appearance around the toes. They just feel like my feet around going to fall out. Bottom line - I'll wear them a little bit - as soon as I have an excuse to replace them I will. Would never order again. ... show more

  • No better than slippers.
Comfortable - Kinda. Breathable - Yes. Lightweight - Yes. Cross-Trainer - No. Trail Running - No. Walking Shoes - Maybe. These fit more like slippers, not true shoes. They also fit large, so they are sure to slip off if used as anything other than house shoes. Easy to slip into, so for me, they are nothing more than expensive slippers. ... show more

  • Perfect slip on for indoors
Everything seems just right. The toe box is as wide as I hoped. Zero drop heel-to-toe. If you're like me and these things are important to you these shoes deliver. I wanted them as inside shoes. You can slip them on without bending over. It has stiffer than normal construction behind the heel and it sort of opens backwards to allow an easier transition into the shoe. The materials seem really nice. I just got them so I can't speak to durability, but they look pretty classy, maybe even better than the pictures do them justice. The mesh of the entire shoe is quite breathable. Barefoot works, but I think the material might be a little rough for long term wear. So it's not really a slipper. My grip6 socks feel perfect in them. I might buy an extra pair or two to throw in the closet because I think they're perfect. ... show more
