Most comfortable boot I ever had. Arch support is soft but gives great support and flexibility. The design of the sole gives good traction even on ice. Laces perfectly and looks great for casual wear.

These are very good boots. They checked all my boxes. Lightweight but sturdy. Only one hook loop at the top. I've only worn them for a couple weeks but no sign of failure whatsoever. Only 4 stars for a couple reasons, some of which may not apply to someone else. First off, the boots are grey, not black. I didn't deduct anything for this because I like grey just as much as black. Your opinion may vary. Secondly, they are comfortable right out of the box, however, I added 2/3 length gel insoles with arch support, and the difference was incredible. Now they are the most comfortable hiking boots ever. Slight deduction there. Third, and this is just an issue for me, it probably won't affect 98% of other buyers, but, I live up in the White Mountains of Arizona, and BB sized D.G. is everywhere. I mean everywhere! And the tread design is perfectly molded to pick up these little pieces of D.G. and wedge them in in alarming amounts. 10 - 12 sharp little rocks per boot. I don't dare walk into the house with our hardwood floors. So I have to take off the boots while dancing - nowhere to sit - stand in the dirt and D.G. and pop out all the little rocks with a small screwdriver, then walk into the house wearing dirty socks. Very inconvienent and the wife glares at me. I wish they had big lugs, and not small slits. But this is a 'me' problem, and probably not a 'you' problem. If I lived somewhere with grass and pavement, they would be perfect hiking boots. ... show more

These waterproof hiking boots are a great fit and very comfortable. They feel lightweight but sturdy, and they’ve kept my feet dry and warm during winter activities like shoveling, snow blowing, and short trips to ice fishing spots. The break-in period was quick, and they still feel solid while remaining flexible, even in cold weather. I haven’t used them yet for longer fishing hikes, but given how comfortable they are during winter travel, I’m confident they’ll perform well. These single handedly are the greatest piece of footwear I have ever worn. At this price it outperforms more expensive brands. I have put hundreds of miles on these through Pacific Northwest, Tennessee, and Shenandoah. Additionally I wear these as work boots as a mechanic and these handle the job without breaking a sweat. The water proof is stellar and doesn’t soak unless fully submerged. Which I have done multiple times and the drying time is an above the game. Even more I’ve had these fall in campfires and they shook it off like no one’s game. I will repurchase these when necessary, but I see no distant future where that would be a possibility. ... show more

These hiking boots are outstanding—easily a 10/10 in terms of value for money. They’re extremely comfortable and clearly built for medium to long-distance hikes across all types of terrain. Dry trails, mud, and rocky, technical sections—these boots handle it all. I feel confident with every step, especially on downhills, and the ankle support is excellent.
