Very very cheap, threads are loose and seems like it will rip any second. Spend a few extra dollars and get a better one if you need it for work, or go to a thrift store. I only got this in a pinch and honestly waste of $5

Overall, this is a nice basic tie. I expected it to be a little deeper purple in color. It's difficult to get a color march exactly with a cell phone, but I tried to take a picture to show the color, which I think is a little lighter and brighter than what is promoted (I think it's a tad brighter than my pic even). If you're looking for a purple tie and the shade isn't important, it's good. If you're getting this for a wedding party where color-match is important, you may want to order one as a test before getting a set. You can see in the photo it needs pressed, but that wasn't a surprise since it's woven polyester (it arrived folded in a thin, small box). The color was my only critique, as otherwise I think it's what I expected and it's still a tie I can wear on occasion. ... show more

I like that this tie is solid with no pattern. This allows it to work with a large number of shirts. The tie is of normal length and seems to be well made. Definitely going to be in the usual rotation!

It's always good to have a few extra pairs of classic black ties! The tie is thin/modern style. It was a bit thinner than I expected which brought me back to 2018. The fabric looks great and has a shine to it when the light hits it. The tie has a propensity to wrinkle a bit so you may have to steam it. The stitching on the tie isn't the best quality. I had the back of the tie open up a bit and needed a tie clip to help keep the other part of the tie from swinging out. It is lightweight and serves as a back up tie incase my main one breaks or goes missing. I would recommend that this is a starter tie at best. If you're attending a very formal event, you may want to up it a bit, since the stitching isn't great and the tie has some threads that are loose in the back. Otherwise, it's an OK tie. ... show more
