I looked at many shoes of this type and decided to try this one, kind of keeping my fingers crossed. Well, happily these more than met my expectations. I hate paying for expensive shoes. Especially since most of them are manufactured in Asia for peanuts. So, these are reasonably priced if nothing else. But they fit true to my normsl size 13 and are actually comfortable and easy to slip into. I can't just step in so I do pull them on using a hand, but still, so much more convenient than laced shoes. I should note that I have wide feet so it's possible they may not be perfect for those with narrow feet, but hey, it's Amazon, send 'em back if you don't like 'em! I like the look in black. They appear pretty durable so I'm hoping to get lots of use out of them. The fit is secure but not tight so my feet do not slip around or pull out at the heel etc. They do not have that petroleum smell that many plastic items do that come from Asian countries. Overall, I like the shoes. They’re comfortable and stylish. The material is a little flimsy which makes them hard to slip on. The size seems to run a tad small. My heal to toes measurement is 10 3/8” which is just under 10.4” so I ordered the size 9.5. When they arrived, put them on and they were a tad tight in width and too short in length. My big toe was hitting the tip and it was uncomfortable. I returned for size 10 and they fit perfect. I did a lot of walking in them the first day and they are very comfortable. Not sure about the value though. The material seems a bit flimsy for the cost but if they last a couple months, that will be worth it. ... show more

Love these shoes. They are comfortable for full retail shifts, easy in and easy out. The only drawback is that they need to be replaced yearly.

I really like the fit. It's true to size. They're light and comfortable. I also like the option of being able to use the shoe strings to tighten them down if needed, but they stay on just find without them. My only issue is the smell. They came sealed in plastic, but when i opened it up, the very strong smell was overwhelming and I started to sneeze. It smells like someone had sprayed a gallon of some sort of air freshener on it. I'm going to have to let it air out for a few days and hope they it goes away. If not I may have to return them. ... show more

I usually don't write reviews but I just had to on this one. I ordered these shoes in size 13 (US). The first thing that struck me was how small and flat the Amazon package was when i brought it inside. When I opened the package the shoes were bound one on top another, and so, so flat , I couldn't believe they were two shoes. Thaey had a bad smell to them and a oily residue on them. I went to try them on and couldn't get them pass my toes. I went to stretch them out at the top of the laces to expand the top of the shoe but the way they are designed I couldn't budge them at all. I packaged them up and sent them back to amazon for a full return; and then scrubbed my hands througly wondering what kind of chemicals i might have been exposed to. I'm surprised the over all scorem 75% was favoable. Complete trash, no stars. ... show more

You won't win any fashion contests in these shoes. They look like their price, however, they get the job done and are durable enough for the price. These were great for slipping on quick to take out the trash or go to the grocery store and something that's a little bit more presentable than house slippers, but almost as comfortable And quick to put on. Breathable enough that you can wear them without socks, but don't expect them to last as long as socks are not just to protect your feet but also your shoes. I wear these every single day. I bought the last pair a year ago to wear on our trip to Greece. We ended up walking about 50 miles over 10 days with no problems or discomfort. They are feather light, and look good too. The only downside is that eventually the soles wear down and the ribbing disappears, leaving a flat, smooth surface which can be very slip-prone on things like wet bluestone or tile. At that point, BUY ANOTHER PAIR!! For the price, you really can't beat 'em. ... show more
