These skinny jeans are very comparable to a mall brand that I normally wear. Depending on the brand and style, I can wear either a size 28 or 30. A 29 is usually a perfect fit for me. I went with a size 30 this time, and I'm glad that I did. While these fit me just right in the waist, the calves feel a bit too tight for my taste. However, they do look sharp and stylish. I especially like how the black backing on each leg is one solid piece. When I first got these, there was no slot for the button to go into. I ended up having to carefully cut one myself. Material and stitching are well done and durable feeling. Please be aware the black backing pieces are glued on. To shrink these jeans down slightly, I ran them through hot cycles in the washer and dryer. The glue held up for the most part, but there were sections that came undone. It was an easy fix though, as I already have fabric glue available since I've encountered this issue before with other brands. After the wash, these measure about 30x28. I would have preferred an inch or two wider on the leg openings, as they're only about 11''. Regardless, I was still very impressed with these skinny jeans and would recommend them.

OK - I wasn't really expecting this. They are a combination of *very* distressed - at the same time, quality. Hard to describe but the distressed tears and fringing are reinforced by darker denim - so the leg material is all solid. While it is mostly made of cotton, it is rather "stretch" (it better be - these are *really* a skinny jeans cut - but luckily they did not seem to shrink in the laundry. They are not only slim / skinny fit, but dare I say, you better be slim or skinny yourself pull off wearing these.
