For the money this was a great buy. I bought a size larger than my usual size and it is still a size to small. but they fit my wife so no harm, I'll just have to order a larger pair. But the soles are think and comfy with decent arch support. I have a boney mass in my foot that pushed on a nerve, and the sole is soft enough that it doesn't aggravate it much. The material seems of good quality, its thick but breathes well, so I think it will be well suited to swampy environments like found in FL, especially since they at least appear to be machine washable. They were just too short for me, but two sizes larger than your usual US size. ... show more

Seems like pretty good value. Nice looking shoes and ultra-light. True to fit. No-frills packaging so I don't have a box to throw away, good trade-off for the price. I'll see how long they last before they become open-toed like some of the pricey name brands I usually buy that don't stay together. Absolutely love the fit of these shoes, though they might not be for everyone. If you prefer a snug, fitted shoe, these might be for you. I purchased the Army Green and the color is perfect. The laces are not too long. The rubber shoe lace holder keeps the laces in place. The ankle cushioning is higher up on the ankle and it does take some effort to push your foot into the shoe, but that was exactly what I was looking for. ... show more

Nice shoes. Typical foam outer sole, with minimal traction. Good for casual walks, etc. and should last for about a year or so. Using as primary shoes will not last long. I knew this as I have several walking shoes like this. But it is comfortable and the price is good.
