My husband detests being outside in the rain. However, sometimes, this is unavoidable. Unfortunately, we live in an area where it rains a lot, often coming on suddenly, and can be accompanied by wind. So I was so happy to find this extra-long rain jacket for him. It has a nice big hood on it that he can close up tight with the cords, and it keeps the rain off his head and face. It has long sleeves to completely cover his arms, and goes down to below his knees to cover most of his pants. And yet, it’s a lightweight nylon type of material, so it’s not too hot to wear, unlike those thick fabric trench coats that used to be popular. It also folds up into a nice, small pouch that he can keep in his car or put into a sling bag when he goes out or into a store. Whenever he needs it, he can easily pull it out, put it on, snap it up, and continue on with his day. One thing to mention, though – you may want to order this at least one size up, if not two. My husband is a slender guy who usually wears a medium, but we got this in a large to make sure it would go over his clothes. It turns out that this large was the perfect size for him, and if he had gotten the medium, it probably wouldn’t have fit because this raincoat seems to run small.

I ordered this rain coat to wear while walking my dog or, taking to the ocean on a rainy day. I was suprised when I received it since it packs down small into a pouch. This is nice since you can fit it in a purse or in your car without taking up too much room. The snaps are metal and good quality and the material feels like a heavy weight shower curtain material. I ordered mine in a large although I am a medium so I can wear it over a thick sweater. I’m glad I did since it is true to size. It’s not beautiful by any means but it works good and for that, it’s worth the $15 price tag.

I wanted something cheap and easy I could keep in my car and take during walking or hiking trips, something not super expensive, but better than the clear disposable plastic bags. This is a great happy medium. I’m 5’5” and it goes down below my knee. The snaps are nice and they are adjustable to your needs. There are buttons that go all the way up to secure the hoodie around your head if you want it up and then go two thirds down the jacket. This is nice so that it doesn’t impair movement or walking. The drawstring works very well. Overall, this is very durable. It definitely is better than using the disposable jackets. It’s a bit bigger/thicker, but that’s nice. I’ve worn it over my jacket during snow and cold rain and it keeps the wind and wetness out, which is perfect. I don’t mind if it gets torn, but so far it’s held up to some abuse of going over jackets and going on hikes.

This rain jacket is decent for what it is. The material is very stiff and fits a little tighter than you might expect. It will definitely do the job of keeping the rain off of your body, and the snaps that keep it buttoned in the front seem solid. It has a bit of a smell when opened for the first time, but that’s to be expected and I’m sure it will diminish with fresh air exposure. It’s pretty much a form-fitting, thicker plastic poncho. As long as you go into it knowing that, and not expecting fashion wear, you won’t be disappointed. It’ll get the job done and you won’t get wet.

This is a nice reusable raincoat. It was a little smaller than I expected though. I ordered a medium, and as a woman who normally wears a medium,I expected it to be mens sizing and to be large enough to wear over regular clothes with some room. It's pretty snug fitting though. So, I'd recommend ordering a size up.
