Value. Value. Would buy again. No hesitation. Only suggestion would be larger hook and loop footprint. Seem fine. I actually keep them loose so I can slide on and off without undoing fasteners. I really like these gloves.

    • Very durable, thick, and protected, but not very articulated.

These gloves are pretty good for the price. You get a bunch of nice features in a very cheap glove- cheaper than anything I've found in stores, including the cheapest Cortech gloves (at least, cheaper than other gloves with armor). They've got a nice "carbon fiber" knuckleguard. I don't know if it's actually carbon fiber, but it looks just like any other "carbon fiber" knuckleguard from any other brand. There's decent finger armor too, and the glove itself is quite heavily padded with leather up top. On the palm side, you get palm sliders- which are a rarity and greatly appreciated- as well as decent leather protection, some silicon where you grip your handlebars, and a bit of wrist padding. They are pretty warm too. As for the fit, they fit alright. I ordered a large as my hand is about 8.5" in circumference around the widest point. On the fitment guide they state wrist sizes but tell you to wrap the tape around your palm- definitely go for palm sizes. I have rather lanky hands, so I should've sized up. The wrist strap fits okay for what it is and overall the gloves feel secure. But, I find it very hard to move my fingers. Trying to move my thumb so that I can hit my indicators or my horn is very difficult, and requires a lot of thumb strength if I keep my other fingers wrapped around my grips. Grabbing levers with just two fingers is also hard- there's so much leather and armor that it's just hard to actually stick my fingers out and bring them in. So overall, I would say size up if you have lanky hands. I think my hands would fit better and be easier to move in a bigger glove. That being said, since they are so armored, you're not going to get great mobility either way. With some breaking in I'm sure they would be nice- but I'm returning them for a bigger size. I'm not so certain of the leather as well- it feels quite thick but it might be because of some internal filling liner rather than just thick leather. Other reviewers say that they are very comfortable, but I find them very uncomfortable. Maybe it's due to the sizing, but I just can't move my hands in these, and that's a very bad thing. Maybe it's because they aren't precurved. I'm not sure. For $30, I would say just order them and try them. ... show more

Ordered Xlarge since that's what all my other gloves I own are. Fit just right. Stitching in fingers felt odd at first but quickly didn't notice anymore once new leather relaxed. Thumbing switchs takes practice to feel them due to thickness, but that passes to. Good grip on bars and levers. Had no discomfort from knuckle armor as others have said. They fit me so I'll buy again. Can't say about dye bleeding when wet. Don't doubt it though, not something I haven't had happen before with other leather products. Would recommend trying, just return if they don't fit ... show more

Not gonna write a long one because these lasted half a day before some [colorful words] jumped the double white and I laid it down to avoid them. Pros: Easy on, easy off Fairly breathable Skid plates work VERY strong grip on the throttle, you're not letting go unless you want to Cons: They NEED to be broken in prior to riding Can't feel the brake without them being broken in. Clutch is whatever VERY strong grip on the throttle, you're not letting go if you want to readjust :| The lack of feedback from the brake and this guy jumping lanes caused me to lock my front wheel up. If the gloves had been broken in a bit better instead of day one testing, it would probably feel a lot better and my accident could've been avoided. Never got to use the touch screen function. Bike's fine, already mostly repaired. My shoulder is still messed up but I'll be back on it soon enough. ... show more

    • Tighter than expected and a protective knuckle piece was uncomfortably misplaced.

I measured my hand carefully twice before ordering, but a 9" circumference is too big for a Large size. Another customer wrote that these gloves MUST be broken in before using, and the customer is certainly correct. I could not take the time these would need to be broken in before being ride-ready. Also, one of the protective pieces, a "jewel" of a sort, was about hard and uncomfortable on my right index finger, greatly decreasing the already limited usability of the new gloves as received. If I reorder these for my 9" circumference hands, I'd have to get the XL size, but then they might be too loose. I didn't like the childish look of the faceted "gems" that are knuckle guards, so I may get something else. However, the leather quality did seem good, and if they had fit well, I probably would have kept them, especially if "fit well" included no discomfort from the plastic knuckle guards. ... show more

Fits great in that XL is actually XL - they don't skimp on leather. ALso, Seems to be real cow leather, quite soft but not too soft to protect hands. Brand new but still reasonably easy to curl for throttle grip. Sliders on palm and knuckle side.
