These lightweight pj pants are so versatile . I was looking for a lightweight pant that could be worn around the yard gardening and happened to find these in the men's section . The value for the money is great. The quality of the material is super for Spring or Summer both indoors and out . On really hot days it was easy to fold the legs up a bit , as I said I just find them an all around versatile pant for casual outdoor work or as pj's with tank top , great for inside or outside in warm weather .I would give them a five but they do shrink so buy a size larger for both length and body shape fit .Overall though I love them ! ... show more

Upfront: I rate basic products for what they are themselves, not compared to higher-end alternatives. These pants are a great example. Marketed as men's pajama bottoms, I bought them for casual and lounge wear for my female self, using them as sleepwear, WFH and to run errands in my city neighborhood. Many of the available patterns lend themselves to such multi-functionality, which is another selling point for me. And, I prefer cotton over synthetic fabrics as I find them more breathable, lighter in weight and of course better for the environment. These cotton pants offer a simple but comfortable design: straight, loose legs; non-binding, elasticized waistband with drawstring; and sufficient length to reach below my ankle (I'm 5'.7"). They're also well-made: color-fast and soft fabric that gets softer with wear and wash; nicely-finished seams; properly-set and sufficiently-wide elastic; fabric-matched drawstring long enough to be functional; and loose enough to allow for easy movement. They launder easily in medium or hot water. Cotton of all weights and weaves is notorious for shrinking, so I use only a delicate cycle to dry or, more commonly, hang indoors. These are a light-weight fabric and dry quickly using both methods. Finally, the pricing for these is quite reasonable. I've purchased one package of three pair (black, navy and green-tan mini-checks on white) and have just ordered another of the darker-checked sets. Highly recommended! ... show more

I am a woman who just needed some comfortable lightweight pants to wear this summer at a good price. These are comfortable, light but not see through, and at $32 for 3 pair (way less than women's) I am very happy with them. I usually wear a small in men's sweat pants, but got XXL in these and they are a bit big so ordered some more in size XL. If you want them to be comfortable, and not tight I think ordering a size up would work best. I wear mine everywhere, BTW and no one seems to notice that they are sleep pants. ... show more

    • They will shrink after getting wet. Don’t buy.

These shrunk after washing. We saw others complained of shrinking so we specifically washed in cold water and hung to dry and they still shrunk significantly. Waste of money.
