  • Best walking shoes I’ve owned
Size: 10.5 Color: Light Grey
These shoes are amazing and have gotten me really excited about walking again. They are comfortable and for my wide foot the toe box is perfect. Low impact and feels very natural. I don’t go on my walks without them now! Exactly as advertised and would absolutely buy them again and recommend to anyone! Just started my weight loss journey a few weeks ago and am proud to say I am down 25 pounds! These are an absolute steal for the price ... show more

  • Lightweight
Size: 9.5 Color: Light Grey
Good enough for the price. The outer sole is on the thin side. The inner sole is not too comfortable. They run bigger than expected. I had to reorder them 1/2 a size smaller than I usually wear. But overall they look decent for occasional use.

  • Dry weather use only
Size: 10 Color: Light Grey
I've worn these to the gym and have received a few compliments on the color and design. They are generally comfortable and have a lot of room in the toe box, which makes them feel bigger than they actually are. Guys with wide feet will like this. Because of their thin, flattened sole construction I wouldn't use them for running because there is not much cushioning. They do work well for bicycle riding, though. There are 4 drainage holes spaced throughout the sole, which means if you wear them in inclement weather you are going to get water seepage. Also, the mesh looks large enough to let fine dirt particles to filter through if you use on dusty surfaces, like trails - not ideal. Overall, if you understand the design limitations, these shoes could be a useful addition to your footwear collection. ... show more

  • An OK pair of shoes with highly questionable contruction
Size: 11 Color: Navy Blue
Man, I really wanted to like these sneakers. I’m a big fan of minimalist sneakers and dark blue is my favorite color. These have enough of a pop of color to them that makes them unique and yet, not obnoxious. The branding is extremely subtle as well - I can’t stand when lesser known brands plaster some incomprehensible gibberish all over their clothing. Kudos for that. They came shrink wrapped in plastic & did not come in a box… which is odd but… whatever. They had a strong smell of adhesive when taken out of plastic and I’m guessing that has something to do with the sneakers not being able to breath when hermetically sealed. After a few hours of breathing in noxious fumes, there was no longer a smell. They were pretty true to size. I’m a size 11 regular & they fit well. Tying them was easy & the knot held up well to a 90 minute workout, which included 25 minutes of running on a treadmill. For the most part, they’re comfortable but they’re a little uncomfortable when you’re squatting or lunging, as the toe box flexes across the top of your foot where my toes start. It’s not a TERRIBLE feeling and my feet *did NOT* hurt after the fact. I won’t deduct any stars for that. I’m most unhappy with the decision to put ventilation holes *underneath* the shoe. That’s right - there are FOUR mesh holes per foot and the hole goes all the way into the foot & right to the in sole. I don’t understand the decision behind this choice. Because of this, these shoes are pretty much limited to dry surfaces. There’s language in the item’s listing about hybrid use but… if I wanted shoes to be used in swimming or aquatic activities, I’ll get those instead. They aren’t even puddle proof! Overall, I’m somewhat disappointed in these shoes. I wouldn’t wear these out or to the gym if it’s raining (or even if there’s rain in the forecast). I’d give these a 5 star rating if it’s dry out but a 3 star rating if there’s any moisture outside. ⭐⭐⭐⭐(averaged out) ... show more

  • A Surprising Return to Natural Motion: Affordable Minimalist Excellence
Size: 10 Color: Navy Blue
For years, I've chased the ghost of a particular pair of shoes, a minimalist design I stumbled upon in New York City, a testament to unadulterated comfort and urban resilience. They were my weekend companions, traversing the concrete jungle with an ease that felt almost primal. The memory of their worn-out soles, a chronicle of countless city miles, lingered long after they were gone. Two decades, a lifetime in footwear trends, passed before I even knew the term "minimalist shoes." Recently, I stumbled upon these "Men's Hike Barefoot Shoes | Wide Toe Box Minimalist Shoes for Gym Workout | Grounded Footwear Cross-Trainer Athletic Sneakers," and a wave of nostalgia washed over me. The price point, a fraction of what I'd paid for my original pair, initially raised a skeptical eyebrow. However, upon slipping them on, any doubt vanished. These shoes are, simply put, fantastic. They capture the essence of what I loved about my long-lost pair: a wide toe box that allows for natural splay, a thin sole that provides exceptional ground feel, and a lightweight design that feels like an extension of my own feet. While I wouldn't subject them to the rigors of a treacherous, rocky trail, they are more than capable of handling everyday urban adventures. The comfort is undeniable, a welcome relief after a day confined to traditional, restrictive business shoes. I've already decided to purchase a second pair, one designated for indoor comfort, a testament to their versatility. As someone who prefers to be barefoot or socked, the transition was seamless. However, I must acknowledge that for those accustomed to traditional footwear, the minimalist design might require an adjustment period. The enhanced ground feedback and natural foot movement can feel unfamiliar at first. These shoes have reignited my appreciation for minimalist footwear, proving that exceptional comfort and functionality don't have to come with a hefty price tag. They are a welcome return to a simpler, more natural way of walking, a reminder that sometimes, the best things are found in the rediscovery of the familiar. Again, flat out love them, and I plan to order another pair just for the inside of the house. ... show more
