I love the more formal looking styling, but in a comfortable non-formal shoe. It goes pretty well with khakis, shirt, and tie for everyday work wear. I can slip them on without untying which is a bonus. The blue is a bit dark, almost black.

The shoes look nice right out of the box. They are shoes that I would wear out somewhere where I needed something nicer that my typical tennis shoe while not needing to wear dress shoes. I think if the soles were black, you could pass them off for near dress shoe style. The shoe lace is reminicent of the thin hard to tie laces found on some dress shoes. By picking up the box, you can tell how lightweight these shoes are. But not all lightweight shoes are built the same. I have never had an issue with selecting the size I normally get, which in my case is size 10. The shoes fit me length wise as I would expect, but were much more narrow than any of my other shoes. Because of the mesh material my foot fits and its not uncomfortable sitting with them. When walking and standing the width of the shoe becomes noticeable. One foot is more noticeable than the other. On the inside of the shoe just to the front of my heel, I can feel the brown trim that wraps around the shoe above the sole. I can also feel this after the arch of my foot. With the issue of the shoe being too narrow more so on one foot, perhaps the shoes I got were a miss in the qc. Overall they feel like they could be comfortable, but because of this issue I can not fully take them out on a walk or see how well they hold up over time.

These shoes are very lightweight and right out of the box they feel 'broken in'. The soles are a very flexible rubber that bends easily (but will also wear down easily). The synthetic uppers are mesh and so allow adequate air flow to keep your feet cool. With few half sizes, I was forced to order an 11 instead of my normal 10.5 and I'd say that they run fairly true on the sizing as these are just a little long in the toe. They also seem to be extra wide for my normal foot as the laces are pulled as tight as possible and there still seems to be plenty of wiggle room with these shoes. Finally, I don't find that they offer strong arch support. I'm not overly sensitive for arch support needs, but if the ad is going to claim arch support then it usually is a little more apparent. Still, overall, these are a comfy, casual shoe that wears easily right out of the box. Just don't expect them to last forever.

While these may be tied, I just slip them on and off. I've walked the neighborhood many times in these with no discomfort. On a recent cruise, these were my go to deck shoes and I loved them. They had enough grip for to never slip and the style fit in perfectly casual.

My son loves these shoes and wears them a lot for all occasions. He even golfs in them. They sole sides are easy to clean and they're breathable and yet supportive. He does wear socks with them because his feet sweat and ruin shoes and sneakers if he doesn't wear socks. That just shows how much he likes them and doesn't want to ruin them with his nasty feet. Sizing is accurate and they've held up well.

I would hardly call these business shoes or anything formal. I was going to leave initially 3 stars until I wore them and boy these are comfortable... The insoles are so comfortable, soft and nice to stand on. This is the kind of shoe someone who stands on their feet for work all day needs, like a nurse or cashier. Most likely I will use them to go to the beach or for hiking.
