Ordered these shoes for my son's prom like a week before prom , so I was real nervous about the fit. My son is normally a 9.5 in shoes but we ordered a 9 since he wasn't going to wear socks. He could've went down to 8.5 but I think the 9 really worked well because I knew he would be on his feet for at least 3 hours which might have caused his feet to swell a little during the course of the night. The look of the shoe is really nice. However the front toe where the studs are is made out of plastic or something (not metal) so it gives a little cheap look if you are looking really close, but since he was in a room full of kids I'm sure no one was paying much attention lol ... show more

This was the best purchase i made. I needed this pair for a funeral and they arrived on the same day (as i ordered them last minute) just in time. I didn’t even have to worry about socks, as the shoes came with a pair of white ankle socks. They were very comfortable and got thousands of compliments. After taking off the shoes (having had them on for over 8 hours) the bottom of the white ankle socks were pink. The inside of the shoes are red so they bleed a little but it was fine. He loved them!!! and went so well with is skinny suit ( same material as suit. ) everyone kept asking wear he found them. If you clicked on these you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind that all shoes could use a good break in, as these shoes are supposed to be wore with no socks or socks you can't see. Be sure to allows have band aids or cushion bands on back of ankle or anywhere it tends to rub! It will avoid blisters. This goes for alll dress shoes.
