It arrived safely because the lantern was securely packed in a nice elegant box with foam and bubble wrap. This lantern is so perfect! I gave it as a gift to our friend who lost his wife to cancer. He loved it. I put a photo in the back. Highly recommend. I will say it could have been packaged a little better and more tightly. It was moving around within the box you could hear the glass panels moving. Luckily nothing was broke. All the glass did need a cleaning it was a little dirty from someones hands touching it. Overall very pleased and would 100% buy again.
