Whoever thought of this idea must be an animal lover! I know it is just as easy to snip a piece of hair from the animal and put it in a baggy or jewelry box, but this little thing seems a bit more thoughtful and reverent for the pet that just died. And mine has a rainbow on it, depicting the Rainbow Bridge poem. Things like this do help to cope with the death. My beloved cat just died and before being buried, I had to cut a little of her fur off to have and hold forever. Again, great concept and great gifting idea to boost someone's spirits after losing their precious baby. The statics say that ninety three percent of people consider their pet a family member. The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to give to a friend who just said goodbye to her fur baby last week but this is so cute I’m planning to order one for myself only the one with the cat on it. So it comes packaged very well to protect the glass container but also nice enough that you could leave in the package and wrap to give us a gift to someone who’s lost their pet. It’s a heart shaped glass container that seals with a cork on top and in a separate plastic pouch, it comes with a tie with some angel wings that can be tied around the top of the bottle. I love the animation/art of the dog sitting next to the rainbow representing the rainbow bridge. It’s the perfect size to save a lock of fur or if your fur baby was a cat, you could easily fit any claw sheds or whisker sheds that you might have also. It’s a really beautiful keepsake bottle and you cannot beat the price. Such an affordable keepsake or gift for someone who’s recently lost their fur baby. ... show more

This is a beautiful keepsake to keep our Chihuahua’s hair. We just lost her last week. The decal is clear. The cork top is snug, and this little jar is a great memory of her. We miss her dearly, and I am so glad to have found something to remember her by.
