  • Fun for toddlers and kids
These little sharks are so much fun for the kids to play with in the pool and the bathtub. They are sturdy, they dry out well, and are made of good quality. The little fish have holes that make them sink. That is great for my older children. I bought a little floating ducks for my toddler to pick up in the shark mouth so she didn’t have to dive down in the water. ... show more

  • A gift much loved!
I got this for my cousin's five year old son to play with in the pool. He didn't even wait that long to use them after opening the box, 'attacking' us adult types with the sharks as we sat relaxing and talking in the living room. ;) All of the pieces seem sturdily made and stood up to lots of play in said pool. The bright colors of the 'shark food' made it easy to have the repetitive fun as is advertised. As did the slow sinking, also as advertised. The fin 'handles' fit hands both big and small. A pool toy success indeed. The imagination was off and running from day one. :) ... show more

  • Fun pool toy
My granddaughter loves these sharks and fish. The sharks are bigger than I expected and have support in the mesh part to hold open the belly so it can eat the fish easier. The fish slowly sink but not so fast that a four year old can't get them if she concentrates on catching them. The fish are also fun to watch sink to the bottom of the pool and let Mom go get them. This is different from the other pool toys that she has and she plays with it almost every day. ... show more

  • sharks are lot of fun, but fish sink
My son really likes this toy. He is 20 months old and thinks it's hysterical to make the sharks eat his feet, my hand and arm, other bath toys, etc. The sharks are durable and light, both of which are good for toddlers. My main criticism is that the fish that go along with the set sink! I envisioned them floating on the water's surface and my son would scoop them up with the shark. I thought it would be great for hand-eye coordination and developing motor skills. I waivered between giving this 3 stars vs 4 stars over this one issue. While the sharks are still a fun bath toy, without the fish, the developmental aspect of this seems to fade away. ... show more

  • Great toy that won't get moldy
This is a great toy and my 2 and 4 year old boys love them! We use them in the pool or even bath and the kids can't get enough. You get three yellow fish and three orange fish (to be honest, i wish the fish colors were more noticeably different, but that's minor). The fish have more than one hole in them and the holes are large enough to allow them to dry out completely on the inside (ie: no mold will grow). They sink slowly in the pool. The sharks heads and tails are made of hard plastic, while the middles are mesh. The mesh portion does have foam "circles" in them so they do maintain their shape, and allow the caught fish to fall all the way down to the shark tail area. As far as i can tell, there's no part of the shark that can get moldy. This was a great toy at a great price - i'm so happy i purchased it! ... show more

  • highly recommend
Well--aren't these just the smartest thing ever??? My sons are 2 and 5, and these sharks are a major hit! I bought them mostly for our vacation coming up, but they're obviously great for pool and bath use as well! I got them out for the first time yesterday, and the boys thought of all kinds of fun ways to play with them and enjoyed them for hours until bedtime in our little kiddie pool in the backyard. The sharks even have names now. They can hold quite a bit more than the little fish, so be prepared for your kids to really fill the hungry sharks up with all kinds of objects. The little fish are pretty tough and got thrown on our wooden deck over and over without incident. My 5-yr.-old was using his shark voice and said, "MMM, chocolate sauce!!" while the shark "ate" something at one point. Hilarious. ... show more

This was purchased for our 7 year old daughter to play with in our pool. It is adorable and would also make a fun bath toy for younger kids. In the pool it has encouraged her to go under the water to retrieve the fishies. She loves it and it is a huge hit with her friends when they come over to swim. It arrived quickly and looks sturdy like it will last. We do take it our of the water and sun after use to help it last. ... show more

  • The fish don’t float
I was expecting the fish to float on the surface and to be scooped up by the shark, however they sink to the bottom of the pool which means only children comfortable under water can use these. Cute, well made but not what I was expecting.
