I have a 93 Z-28 with 55,000 original miles and a 2008 Impala SS with 80,000 original miles. I also built many muscle cars, from a 68 Camaro RS/SS 396 to a 73 Chevelle SS and painted them all myself. Meguiares is a name you can trust and their #7 showcar polish is the absolute best. This car wash soap does an excellent job and really cleans and brings out the mirror finish providing, of course, you don't have a cheap orange peel special paint job. It will, however, clean any paint job the best just don't expect miracles from soap if you haven't got a 1000 grit wet sanded paint job and proper buffing. It does smell good but, who cares? As a first time car owner, googling "cleaning your car" or "car detailing" opens up a huge online community that easily overwhelmes. However, after doing some digging this seems to be considered a good entry point (if not gold standard) for at-home car wash. The bottle comes with clear instructions, the scent is not overpowering and the bottle and cap were both sturdy. I have a black Mazda and (after being warned that the paint on Japanese cars is scratch prone) found no marks or blemishes that I could trace back to this soap. The price of my local manual car wash has increased significantly and I spend at least $10 and sometimes up to $15 each time I clean my car, so I decided to try this out. I used a scrub pad with this and was able to remove more than I ever was at the car wash. This is totally worth the price.

Been using this brand of car wash soap for years, car looks new at 16 years old. Part in thanks to this stuff. Too bad Amazon sent me a bottle that was damaged with a pushed it cap making it hard to pour into my bucket and impossible to “un-dent.” No fault to the soap, just crappy delivery and handling. Very happy with the product. Works great for Regular wash. I also used it to clean sticky gooey stuff (prolly tree sap) that was layered all over my car after parking it under a tree for few weeks. Highly recommend.

Great price. That was the selling point. Thankfully I had the old bottle still in my possession, in order to transfer the contents from the new bottle to it.
