The way it was folded and boxed I’m having a lot of issues getting it to look right the lid isn’t fitting correctly due also to the way it was also folded for shipping.

This is a beautiful basket. It’s very well made and has a ton of space. So far I have been able to put 6 blankets - 4 small throw blankets my kids use (twin size), my large throw blanket (queen size), and one of my toddler’s comforters (thick/twin size). I was also about to store my heating pad. I have degenerative disc disease and don’t like to take medication, therefore, I use a heating pad nearly every night. Unfortunately, since there’s no reason to unplug it, store it in a closet and plug it back in every single solitary day. that means I always have jt laying somewhere next to my bed for the next nights use. This has allowed me to keep it plugged in but also keep it out of sight. The basket is so large that it hides the cord and the pad. The lid is thick and holds its shape well. Unfortunately the way they pack the basket into the shipping box, the round basket is completely distorted looking. They actually fold it into a flat square and vacuum seal it. When I took it out, I couldn’t get the basket back to its intended shape. So, I thought if I set it up, put blankets in it that will push it back into the form of s circle, then it would be fine. Well, it’s been 6 days and the basket hasn’t changed a bit. It is the same nkw as it was when I took it out of the box. I don’t know what the solution is, but because of how they packed this, I can’t even use the lid. The kid is a circle and the basket is now more of a half circle with 4 right angles on top. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears. I’ll try whatever is suggested. If it’s not resolved within the next week, I’ll have to contact the seller for a replacement or refund. I love this and really can’t wait to use it to its full potential I will update as new information comes. ... show more

Very well-made LARGE basket. The colors and designs are neutral and go with almost anything. The basket is beautiful in craftsmanship and the handles are attached securely. As most have mentioned the way the basket was folded for shipping/packaging have created an issue with creases and the ability to stand up well and the lid does not even come close to fitting correctly at this point. I am hoping to stuff it completely full with a large comforter to get it straightened out into shape then the lid may fit better. I seems very durable and will hold a lot of items, blankets, dog toys, etc. I can't really fault the folding and creasing for shipping, not sure how else they could send it. Maybe rolling would have been better but the nature of the product, creases are to be expected, I just hope I can get them out. All in all, a lovely basket. ... show more

The megasket basket ships with a tag that says 'Real Cotton, No Smell', so I found it ironic that it actually has a very strong chemical smell upon opening. I had to wait 4-5 days for the chemical smell to dissipate. The basket is very large, and since it folded for shipping, it doesn't get the round shape. It takes several days and filling up the basket to get the basket to get the round shape. When the shape is not recovered yet, the cover also doesn't fit well. At least it does get better over time. As shown in the pictures, this item comes flattened down pretty tight. When first unfolded, it has a very lumpy, bumpy appearance. If you need this for immediate styling, order ahead of time so that there is time for you to shape it into form. the last picture is after its had a couple of days to "relax" and I stuffed it full of throw blankets to help fill it out. After a few more days, it should round itself out. Item is darker than it's appearance in my photos, but it still not "black", it's a heathered black, but definitely darker than my photos show it to be. Well constructed, very roomy. wonderful for storage needs where you want to keep items out of sight. Would be great for kid toys, dog toys/items, etc. ... show more

I was looking forward to using this basket to store my throw blankets in. I hate to see them laying on my couches or chairs unless someone is actually using them. It is a well made thick basket that would have been perfect for the job. However, the way it is folded to ship it completely warps the basket. So disappointing to have a great basket that is unusable. No matter what I stuff in it I can not get it to look like a basket. In fact it has totally frustrated me. Wanted this to help keep my livingroom tidy but the basket looks like it has been flattened. Cost to much to look like this. ... show more

Was pleasantly surprised when this came. It is heavy duty and very durable. It doesn't smell, like some baskets can. It does come folded up and it will require a lot of shaping for it to actually round or the lid to fit (reason for 4 stars). It would be nice if it came with some kind of item that helps it to hold its shape. It will be great though to put blankets in for storage. ... show more
