There are a few companies that make cheap skateboards that are purchased for kids but Meepo took a risk and made a very high quality kids specific electric skateboard. My grandson was able to ride on his own in very little time and accelerate and stop safely. I would recommend this board for a child's first board over anything out there right now.

Definitely doesn't have alot of power. Only one wheel spins. Maybe I should have read the info better. It's definitely for kids. Returned.

After using this for a week going back and forth to work the button snapped off the internal electronics and wouldn't turn on the remote turned it on for a day or 2 but then that also stopped working waste of 220 dollars

My son has a nice electric skateboard he's had for years but his girlfriend would always have to ride a bike when they went out and about exploring, so I ordered this MEEPO Ultra-Lightweight board so she'd be able to ride along with him. I'm just a mom who loves seeing her kids have fun, so my impressions of the board when it arrived were it's solid, well made and beautifully packaged. It came with adjustment tools and even a set of knee pads, which I couldn't get girlfriend to wear, but at least the company included them and they're great for someone just learning to ride one of these type of boards. The company even included a custom sized MEEPO gift bag in case you're giving this as a present. I was impressed because everything looked very professional and gave an impression of value and quality. Now feedback from the kids. They said this is is a great beginners board. Being lower to the ground, flexible and not quite as powerful, its stable and very easy to ride. Girlfriend has experience riding skateboards so she was a natural on it, but both kids said it would be perfect for someone just learning to ride an electric board. Girlfriend was able to keep up with my son and they cruised all over town, but they had a little trouble on the way home. Apparently the motor only spins one wheel (my sons board spins 2 wheels) so it doesn't have as much power and my son had to help pull girlfriend up the hill to get back to the house because the MEEPO was struggling to climb, so they said the board is better riding in level areas where there aren't a lot of inclines. My son commented on how lightweight the MEEPO board is compared to his and mentioned it might be a good board to take with him to college to get around campus because it would be easier to carry around when he's not riding it than his heavier board. Overall, it's a well made, quality board well suited to a beginner or someone who wants a stable ride that doesn't need a lot of power to climb hills. Its a good value for the money and we have no problem recommending it for someone looking to get into the world of electric skateboards.

So much fun to ride, fells faster than I was expecting, and the range is decent for an e-skateboard. I'm 37 and this was fun to ride even for me. I got it for my much younger cousin's birthday since she likes skateboarding and she absolutely loved it. It was her favorite gift from what she told me. We charged it up and took it for a ride at the park and had so much fun for about an hour until the battery died. None of us went full speed for long though as we were still getting used to riding it so the battery might give you more or less time since we mostly used the second speed setting for the majority of the time. The max load is 180 so this is meant for youths. I'm 200lbs and it held me just fine for the short time I used it, but I wouldn't recommend it if the person riding it is over the max load as you might damage the electric motor.

This skateboard has been a fantastic way to get around for short commutes. It’s lightweight enough to carry when needed, yet sturdy and stable for beginners like me. The 14MPH max speed feels just right—fast but not intimidating. I especially like the drop-through deck design, which feels low and balanced, making turns smooth and fun. The range of around 9 miles is perfect for quick errands or cruising around the neighborhood. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which I appreciate when riding through calmer areas. For someone new to electric skateboards, it’s a great entry-level board that still feels well-made and reliable.

Got this for my 9-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it. The speed and control are perfect for his age—not too fast, not too slow—which gives me peace of mind while still being fun for him. I tried it myself (I weigh around 180 lbs), and it’s definitely on the slower side for adults, but that just confirms it's ideal for younger riders. The controls are responsive, and the build quality is surprisingly high for the price. It even came in a sleek gift box with a gift bag, which was a nice touch. I was also impressed by the included knee and elbow pads—they’re not just cheap throw-ins, but actually comfortable and high quality. The large orange wheels give it a cool look and make for a really smooth ride. It’s easy to balance on, and the wide deck definitely helps with stability. Battery life has been great so far, lasting longer than expected between charges. The only minor downside is the turning radius seems a bit wide, but that might be more about my lack of skateboarding experience. Overall, this is a fantastic buy and a great intro board for kids.
