This review is for Bovchies Medical Women's Scrub Top - Mandarin Collar Soft Stretch Relaxed Fit Scrub Shirts with 2 Pockets, size large, black. This is a high quality scrub top that will suit me well for visiting the senior facility where I volunteer. It runs a little bit big; I normally wear a large and noticed this top was roomier than normal. Not so big that it looks bad, but it is noticeably bigger than my other tops. It has plenty of stretch as well, so if you’re concerned about the size, you can order your normal size and will have plenty of room to layer an undershirt or base layer underneath and can still easily move and stretch in it. It comes dow fully over your hips, as a proper scrub top should, so you can bend over or reach up high without showing skin. The sleeves are a cap sleeve, not really a short sleeve, so it looks good with even just a white tee underneath, which will be great this summer when I don’t want to wear too many layers. It has two really nice, deep “kangaroo”-type slash pockets along the sides that are easy to keep your keys or a pen and pad in but are deep enough that things don’t fall out. The neckline is conservative yet not restrictive, so it’s perfect for any work environment. The black color is deeply saturated and a true black. The fabric is what I consider typical for scrubs - stain resistant, doesn’t collect lint, wrinkle-free, easy wash and wear, and thick enough that you don’t see bra lines yet still breathable. This top exceeded my expectations in every way! The fabric and construction are excellent: sturdy, durable and very well stitched with no rubbing seams. As an avid-seam hater, it is really important to me that my work clothes be comfortable with no irritating seams, and this is very comfortable! The style is perfect: loose, boxy fit with open capped sleeves that offer lots of movement. There is no restriction from this shirt anywhere. I sized down to a Small because I know these boxy shirts can get too baggy for me, and it fits great (for reference, I'm 5'8" 128lbs). The mandarin collar wants to stay closed, which I appreciate, but when it opens, it is not too revealing. I always wear a sports bra under my work shirts, and the sportsbra is visible in the armpits and collar, which works perfectly—I can bring in some contrasting colors! The navy color is rich and dark and it looks great on, and the fabric is thick and strong but comfortably soft. My photos don't really do it justice, but this shirt is top of the line in every way! I was wavering between giving this scrub top 4 or 5 stars but decided that it was better to be generous today. This scrub top is really solid. It is made from a nice material which --not surprisingly-- is synthetic, yet it has a great feel against the skin and the material actually has a mild sheen to it. It's an upgrade from the quality that I've seen in other scrub tops. It came out of the packaging with some wrinkles but the wrinkles are nothing that a light ironing won't remove, if even needed at all. The styling is really special, while still being acceptable. Plus, to be honest, I am a sucker for Mandarin Collars. One thing that made me consider subtracting a star is that fact that it is sized too generously. Some women might appreciate that, but for an extra-small woman who has enough trouble finding garments that are even labeled as "XS," I am disappointed that it wasn't cut like a TRUE xs. My husband and I are not working in the medical field but have found scrubs very comfortable. I recently acquired a set with a Mandarin collar and he thought that this one would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. This top is made of sturdy, durable and very well stitched material with no rubbing seams. It is comfortable, unfortunately, it is very short. It would work on a person with a shorter torso than mine. The mandarin collar adds style to functionality. My husband got me the Navy in Medium. It fits looser than the top from the set of the same size but I wish it were longer- standard. The fabric is thick and strong but comfortably soft. I like that it has a side pockets, but not your usual front pocket. Very affordable! Highly recommended for the right body type! ... show more

I honestly love the look of this top so much that I’ve already bought it in a few different colors. I get compliments on it all the time, and several of my coworkers have already asked me where to get one or if I could order one for them too. The shorter sleeves are a total lifesaver. I tend to overheat easily during my shifts—especially when the heat is cranked up in the building—and this style really helps keep me from melting. The fabric is really comfortable and has some nice give to it. Even after going through many washes, I haven't had any issues with the colors bleeding or dulling, and they haven't shrunk at all. As far as fit goes, it's very true to size with a nice, relaxed feel. I originally bought a couple in a size up so I could layer them, but I realized I didn't even need to do that. Even in my normal size, it's stretchy enough that I can easily fit a thin long-sleeve or an underscrub underneath for those colder days. It’s definitely my new go-to. ... show more

Recently I have found wearing scrub tops like this feel better when moving around a lot in the ER. I received this one and I will say it has great stretch to it and feels great, the navy color is super close to the other scrub brand colors that I have. Originally I thought the pockets were a bit high, but after working all shift I realized nothing fell out of them because they are so deep and angular, which is a plus when you carry a lot in your pockets.
