It was a quick, straight to the point book, but maybe labeling it a pamphlet is a better. It was a little over simplified, and it only reinforces the things you probably already know if you ever had the desire of being your own boss. The booklet did have a couple of insightful points though.

    • Don't waste your time or money!
Rarely, if ever, am I totally disappointed by a purchase on Amazon, but this little item changed that. I am doing research on starting a medical supply business and thought this book would be just the thing to give me much needed direction. Apparently I was in a real hurry when ordering, otherwise, I wouldn't have been taken like this. Yes, taken! If the information in this 35 page "book" had been valuable and informative I could have overlooked the hundreds of grammar, spelling and syntax errors, but there was no info here that couldn't have been collected in an hour on the internet. (Okay, so it saved me an hour). The so called, "step by step" process of starting the business was a generic collection of "contact your local authority" or "Google (you fill in the blank)" which were all common sense steps anyway. There are only two pages in this booklet that are directly related to the medical supply business at all; a medical supply/distributor company list of phone numbers and websites. Don't let the table of contents fool you, all of those topics are handled in the most superficial, generic way possible. A high school student could have put this together on a Sunday night for class on Monday. Ok, Mr. Spratley. You got my 12 dollars. Hopefully, this review will steer the next person clear of this tripe. ... show more

This book give details of exactly what is needed to be successful in the medical equipment and supply business. It is not alot of useless information that you do not need. It give names, web address, and phone numbers of manufacturers, suppliers and providers of medical supplies. This book is an easy to read and understand valuable tool needed in starting this very lucrative business. This book gives information about how the medical equipment and supply business has withstood the hard economic times that we are in the midst of today. This book tells how this multi-billion dollar industry can be started for less that Two Hundred dollars and right from your home. Very informative! ... show more
