I purchased this just for storing my cheap, fun bracelets so I would SEE them, and then WEAR them more often! I really liked the way it was designed, with 12 'prongs' for hanging items! The item itself is very nice! It sits on my dresser and looks like a piece I must have spent lots of money on. Not so! If I was being super picky, I would say that the front ring holder line is very shallow, and the rings don't fit snugly in the row like the other rows. But certainly not a deal breaker! Still FIVE STARS over all! *****As for modification.....I thought the bar was too tall when I put it all together, per the instructions. So I set aside the bottom section bar and am just using the top section, as you see in my pictures. I flipped the section upside down (you can see the earring row at the bottom, in back). I used the protective plastic piece it came with to make the post fit, and the cute jewel screwed right into the top! It is absolutely perfect!!! ... show more

I bought this jewelry organizer stand for my daughter who loves jewelry. This stand is super easy to put together, with no tools required. I love the gem-looking top that matches well with her room. There is plenty of room for necklaces, rings, and bracelets. There isn’t a ton of space for earrings, but we have another earring holder so it’s no issue. This stand was easy to put together. Feels sturdy. I hung several strands of (fake) pearls on this. Some of these necklaces were several strands (3-6) or extra chunky. And the stand holds up fine. Also, the tray for rings and other accessories on the bottom... I must have somehow missed this as I looked through other picture reviews, because it was a pleasant surprise. It's a very cute shimmering goldish finish... like the lining of a jewelry box. I'm not a ring person, but I put a few pairs of my pearl post earings there. They sit quite nicely. I should've taken a before picture. These necklaces were literally strewn across the length of my dresser.... very messy. Lol... It all hangs so nicely on this stand.
