I bought this book because the Aston Martin Vanquish was a car I always admired and aspire to own. Therefore, I expected a book filled with a lot of beautiful photos of the car and some educational information. And, it is. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the inspirational story of adventure. The storyline made me quickly realize this book is an enjoyable read for anyone, not just those enthusiastic about the Aston Martin brand. Detailing key moments between New York and Florida then New York and Alaska, I grew an appreciation for the the east coast and midwest states and the, often for granted, road trip. ... show more

Liked the Aston Martin history which the author also explores in depth on the TV series Legends of Design which is available on Amazon Prime video. Always enjoyable to read another travel adventure by GT Joey in an exotic car. His cars are not garage queens.
