I wanted the elegant clean style of floating wood shelves without paying an arm and a leg. Being I planned to put some weight on them as well, I wanted something a little thicker than the usual. These were it! Hardware was easy to use and installation went simply. Highly recommend these especially given they're a good bit cheaper than other options. Only "downside" is they seem to be made of a pressed wood, not real wood. Which I was totally fine with but others might not be. ... show more

These look nice but once I screwed the metal wall attachment to the wall, the part that the shelf slides over was a bit difficult to line up perfectly but eventually I got it. I dm using them in a closet to hold small bins

These came as pictured but I wasn't impressed with the quality and returned. The finish of the wood feels like vinyl and it also came with edges chipped.

    • Dereliction of design

Look, I don’t write reviews of things. I’m just not that person typically. But something should be mentioned about how stupid it was to design these shelves without a row of small screw holes in the bracket so that you can orient them wherever you want on the wall and still drill into studs. I recognize that they come with sheetrock anchors, but come on… that’s not nearly as strong. And it wouldn’t have taken much effort to add holes in the metal bracket. I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t do it. Of course it’s on me for buying them without specifically checking for that, but you assume floating shelf “technology” hasn’t regressed since the last time I bought one from Ikea in like 2008. But you’d be wrong. ... show more
