This is the second exhaust I’ve had to put on my 06 Tacoma TRD, and this is by far the better of the two. Very well made, and mounts perfectly to the stock mounting points and looks great. The tone is slightly louder than the stock exhaust, but not bad at all. Comes with chrome tip that looks great. The clamps included with the kit are the professional style, not the U-Bolts and brackets usually included with aftermarket exhaust kits. That alone is worth the purchase price. Got a good tight seal and didn’t have to worry about over tightening the clamps. Couldn’t be happier. Way better than the aftermarket dual exhaust I had on it that rusted out in a few years.

Installed on a 2011 Tacoma 4dr shortbed with a 2" suspension lift. Install was very easy, most of the work is removing the stock exhaust. You will need to cut the straight pipe 13" to accomodate a short bed so you will need a saw or cutting wheel. I didn't need to drop the spare tire for installation. The sound is good, drones a bit at some lower speeds, highway speeds it's fine. I love feeling my floorboard vibrate from the sound when I hit the gas, that will never get old. I don't care about improving my MPG, I drive a lifted truck so.... The 4.0 definitely feels a little snappier but I'm not sure if it's getting any HP gains. Great upgrade to my truck wish I did it sooner.

This exhaust system is perfect - not obnoxiously noisy & increased horsepower at a lower cost. If only the directions were a little more detailed about uninstalling the original exhaust (ie - need to remove the spare tire in order to pull out the original exhaust). Pictures are also not very clear. Also VERY IMPORTANT - if you have a crew cab short bed or access cab, YOU WILL have to cut the exhaust to 32" (I cut to ~32.25" just to be safe side) as S5326AL is designed for a long bed. The exhaust will smell bad at first but that's just because you have to burn off all the oil (or what ever it is) that is in the part (anti rust/corrosion chems I guess. The easiest part was installing it. Taking off the old exhaust, I little more time consuming. Be very careful of the brake lines on the rear axle when uninstalling. Overall very happy with this product.

All you need is a few hand tools besides cutting the pipe. The tip requires a pretty large Allen wrench though, It was either a 8 or 9 mm. Install took about half the time as removal. Overall I'd say it was about 2-3 hours from start to finish. The sound difference is night and day. My truck sounds like a V8 now. It's not so loud that you have to yell over it but just right. The Truck seems a little quicker off the line but havnt noticed anything crazy performance wise. Make sure you take the spare tire off first and it frees up a lot of room to work. Overall I'm really happy with it and would recommend buying it.

Installed in 2008 access cab Tacoma easily. Good quality. Use a sawzall or similar to cut out old exhaust if no lift available. Was toughest part of job. Spent 10 minutes in a shower of sparks trying to use a pneumatic cut-off saw, and instead dropped it in 30 seconds with sawzall and metal cutting blade. Just watch the brake lines on the rear axle. It is a bit on the loud side (tone resonates) on the interior at certain RPMs (manual transmission) , but much better than a leaking exhaust.

It's a no brainier to install. Insructions were very clear and to the point. If you have an ounce of mechanical skills you will have no troubles. My 16 year old son installed it on his 2008 Toyota Tocoma. Sounds great and has helped a bit in performance. If you have a short bed crew cab Tacoma, you will have to cut 18" off of the straight pipe. If you are questioning this purchase, don't, order it and you will not be disappointed.

Does not come with the exhaust flange gasket. Thats the cat/muffler gasket. Easy install, took about an hour. I installed everything muffler back and found my cut line for the pipe instead of using the stock dims. Glad I did, my measurement was about 2” longer. All the hangers matched up perfectly on my 05 Tacoma Access Cab. Tighten the hell out of the clamps, and check for condensation when you test the exhaust. Sound and performance is good, I didn't buy it for that purpose but I am happy with the kit overall.
