I bought this exhaust after watching a lot of videos of a lot of different cat back exhausts. I wanted a sound that wasn't too much noise and I especially liked the side exhaust look. I went with the stainless because I live in the salt belt and didn't want to deal with rust issues. I had a local garage do the install which took them about an hour and a half but anyone with hand tools and a cut off wheel who can measure and cut if need be should be able to manage this. I think this exhaust is fairly loud and the noise can be heard throughout the cab at all levels of throttle. The first few days after it was installed, I was thinking it was a bit much but now that it's been almost a month I love it and am glad I went with it. It has a nice rumble when first starting and it doesn't really bark unless I'm over half throttle. As far as exhaust drone is concerned the tone that I find most noticeable is when accelerating up a long hill from a lower speed. Nice kit. Installed on my 2013 f150 5.0 and love it. I also paired it with a matching 3 in resonator for cab drone. Together a great system. One down fall, the the end that connects to the factory pipe could be a little better made.

2013 F150 5.0 here. If you’re on the fence about it just pull the trigger. FYI For those on a budget, I would not recommend doing this yourself. I had to take it to a muffler shop, and these required some tack welds because they had some play even after tightening the clams. The Install from the muffler shop only cost about $100 ... show more

Fit my eco boost 2012 perfect. Requires the mid pipe to be cut unless you have the biggest truck ford offers. However if you have a Sawzall and a metal blade it cut like butter. Easy install, the removal of the old one was a pain but all in all it is well worth every penny. Very satisfied

Super cool exhaust, bought this specifically for looks and and sound, when it was new, it was very loud and droned bad, now that it's broken in it's very taim on the highway and has a good bark in town, my neighbor loves it too, installation was kinda tricky trying to line the pipes up, but looks great when finished highly recommend if you want lots of noise ... show more
