We bought this but still need some springs or something since the bed is too low for just the board. I plan on getting some springs and put this in between so the foam mattress won't feel too soft.

The boards are pretty thin so I would not trust it by itself but I used them to go the opposite way from the original slats to reinforce them since a couple were cracked.

    • Board was warped
Twin XL. In the box, the boards are strapped tightly with straps, so they look fine. But when I cut the straps to put on the platform, it took a second to see that one of the boards was badly warped - about 3" in the middle. Originally, I put it down the correct way so both ends were bent up. Then I flipped it over and the middle is pushed up on the one board. I don't know if it will damage the mattress. Haven't decided what to do yet. 3 stars for the concept. Not happy with the warping. ... show more

    • Length perfect for my Full size boards ran from Head to toe not across like box springs slats do
Ok removed top mattress left box springs . Put this inbetween box and matress. Mattress was new but with both my wife an myself on it it would sag some in the middle making me feel like one side going down a bit . Anyway layed my new slat roll on my box springs .slats inside of box ran across the bed . so the new slats i was laying on top ran from foot to the head board. now i slid three slats close together in the middle of box where the slump was on top mattress when we were both on it and spread the rest out to each side not all the way . took a little bit of gorilla Tape to hold slats in place a bit while i installed the top Mattress. perfect no more slope in the middle flat all the way across perfect. ... show more

I should’ve measured my bed better because this is just a few inches too small. BUT it does still work well for what I need. I highly recommend measuring your bed first. I just took a leap of faith on mine

    • Good replacement slats but need to buy extra center support

I bought these to replace broken wooden slats on my queen bed frame. I measured my frame to make sure they would fit and they fit perfectly. You can adjust the width between slats to be wider or closer apart to fit properly on your frame. I would suggest buying a center support to go under these slats, as I don't believe they would be enough support on their own with a queen bed AND 2 adults on it. The other issue I found with these is they slide around a little on the frame when you're moving around on the bed, so there can be creaking noises. This can be improved by securely attaching them to the frame with screws. I am not that savvy, however, so I just deal with the slight creaking and moving for now. Seeing as there aren't many other options besides buying an entirely new bedframe, these replacement slats work just fine for my purposes. ... show more
