This white toilet seat cover was not able to be shipped to California probably due to proposition 65. I had to mail it to my daughter in another state. I have been searching forever for a cover that will fit my elongated toilet seat lid and I finally found one. This cover has elastic all the way around and it just slipped right on. I didn't have to tug or struggle at all, it just fits. I love the shaggy look and the dark blue color is perfect. It isn't quite dark navy but it's close. ~ Love this lid cover. It does fit long lid, though it was a mini struggle putting on. Is not longer than lid by measurements as I expected. Because…. When you put it on the wide part of lid takes up length naturally and I did not factor this in of course 🤪🥺. Thus I struggled. Im weak. 😅 It is thick - plush for sitting on while doing hair. This cover is exactly as shown. It is very full, true to color, and updated the room. We recently moved and the very small bathroom needed a full update. Because the room is so small I am using light colors to make it more pleasing to the eye. Due to the color being true to what is shown, it was easy to match to other things in the room. I am pleased as to the softness and fullness of this item. A younger adult family member, who is in to fashion, commented on the relevancy of the material and look.     • Isn't cut to fit the American toilet lid.
So, I want to start by saying I bought the toilet lid cover and the contoured rug. I got a silver gray because it is a difficult color to find and the price seemed reasonable. They are both very plush and fun with ropey depth. Because they are bathroom items and can't be bleached or run in the dryer, I have to take a little bit of a mark there; most people are going to want to sanitize these items. They've come through the wash and air dry just fine. But my real complaint has to do with the way the toilet seat cover is made. It seems more like a hamper lid cover because it does not accommodate any hinge (it's cinched all the way around like a shower cap.) Most toilet seat covers in the United States have gathered edges around a portion of the cover (like 7 to 5 on a clock) with the remainder cut away without elastic so that it will work with the hinge. It's hard to imagine how this lid cover would work without modification on any toilet that I've ever seen. So, for now what we do is just leave it untucked along the back, which is not attractive... so imagine the toilet lid is open and the cover just covering the top half like a hairdo if the lid is like a face. I'm going to try to cut it and fix it, rather than return it because I really do like the deep pile twisties, but it seems like a bit of an engineering defect that could be addressed in manufacturing IMHO. If you have men/boys in your household, they will find they'll need to sit to use the toilet with these covers because the lid will not stay open because the cover interferes with the hinge. ... show more

I marked the thickness at a two, because it's thinnish, but how thick does a toilet cover really need to be? I returned the accompanying bathroom rug because it was definitely too thin for a bath rug. Love the texture this adds to my dark gray/light gray bathroom. Washed several times already.
