I love the quality/durability of the leash, even when using it with a large dog. I also like the thickness of it and how lightweight it is. I ordered a 10 foot leash and really love it! I found that the foam padding around the loop handle part was uncomfortable and actually made it harder to hold the leash so I removed it and now the leash is very comfortable and works well. It's a good width and weight for my 11 lb. chihuahua mix. The foam padding around the handle had actually started to tear and come off on its own so I just decided to help it on its way and remove it completely, and since it was bothering me to begin with, it turned out to be a massive improvement. I've been using this leash for 9 months and had no problems with it since removing the foam padding. It is still in perfect condition and working out well. I feel very safe and confident when walking my dog that the leash will hold up under my dog's normal pulling or if I have to suddenly pull her out of harms way from something. I ordered the 1/4 inch width, 6 ft. long purple leash. The actual width of the leash is a bit wider than 1/4 inch but smaller than a 1/2 inch so I'm not sure which width it is. All I can tell you is that I ordered the 1/4 inch width and it is working out well. I would recommend this leash and if the foam handle pad bugs you, it can be easily removed. ... show more

Comfortable and lightweight leash. The foam on the handle came apart on my first one after about a year (while the rope part was fine) so now I add a strip of insulation tape on both bottom sides of the foam to reinforce it.

This leash has been great for walking my 9year old black lab who still acts like a puppy. He likes to walk ahead sometimes and the length in this is great. I also carry my toddler in a carrier on my back when walking our dog and he like to hold the leash handle and I hold the middle of leash. The length allows for this which is great. I have had this leash for years and it is great! It does not tangle, as the rope is so thick and durable that it would not be able to. The clip at the end works great, and the range of motion does not give me any issues. Great product!
