I am really hooked on this lipstick! It's very long wearing and it's super gentle on my lips. I've tried long wear lipstick in the past and found that it dried my lips out too much and irritated them, like it sucked the moisture out of my lips. This doesn't do that at all! They feel very comfortable underneath, no itching, and don't feel dry when I take it off at the end of the day. It has a really pretty matte sheen, and I like the scent, kind of vanilla. Let me address some common complaints among other reviewers and why I think they're wrong. First off, it is really easy to take off if you know what you're doing. Oil takes this stuff off quite easily, so do some makeup wipes. Most lip balms will take it off as well. For example, I use laneige lip balm at night and it takes it off just fine. Put some on, rub your lips together, and then wipe off with a tissue. Neutrogena makeup wipes also take it off. Secondly, I do agree that this product is very sticky. I have found that I can put my Mac lipglass on over top and now it's not sticky anymore! Also the gloss gives it a nice sheen or glitter depending on what shade of gloss. And most importantly, Mac lipglass does not take it off, yay! Third, because oil takes it off, depending on what you had to eat, it will or won't survive your meal. So some people say they had really good luck with it lasting all day, and other people complaining that it's worn off after a few hours. I think it really depends on what you had to eat that day. If I have something light and non-greasy for lunch like sushi then my lipstick lasts the entire work day without needing a touch-up. If I have a lunch that's heavy on oil, like salad dressing or a lot of butter, then I have to reapply after I finish eating. But one touch up in the middle of the day to freshen up the center of your lips is no big deal! That still wayyyyy beats any kind of conventional lipstick. Fourth, your lips need to be totally clean and oil free before you apply. And this stuff takes about a minute to set. So if you're putting it on, say, on top of lip balm, it isn't going to be long wear lipstick. Likewise, let it set well before you go off for the day. If I get lipstick on my teeth, it's usually during this period where it hasn't set yet. If that happens, I just wait until it is set, and then wipe it off my teeth with a Kleenex. Not a big deal at all! Now on to the colors... I am extremely fair skinned (usually the lightest color in any foundation brand), blue eyes, cool undertone, and brown/ reddish hair. On me, I really like the way dreamer and lover look. Very flattering and works well if you have cool undertones in your skin. I like poet, but it's almost a little too orange/ coral for my skin tone. I agree with other reviewers that seductress doesn't look at all like the photos online. That shade is way more brown in person. Like a '90s brown... I'll probably wear it some, but definitely not the most flattering for cool toned skin. I definitely plan on buying another color or two. At this price point, it's pretty easy to experiment. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

I’ve being wearing this everyday to work for two years, and it’s the best! Most days, it doesn’t budge. This lipstick does change color slightly after it dries, and it can come off if you eat something will oil or grease. I just check after lunch and reapply if needed. (Literally keep one in my makeup bag at home and another in my purse.) I also have other colors for other occasions. When I apply, I wipe the excess off half the applicator for the perfect amount—that makes it easier and more precise to apply. No smell—love that. It’s a liquid to dry/creamy texture, and the thickness can be adjusted. May get on your teeth soon after application, but it’s fine after drying! This makes me look put together while being low maintenance.

Absolutely the best stay put lip paint period. I've tried so many through the years. This is the bomb! Stays put no matter what! Lol and I mean it's not going anywhere! I need globs of Vaseline to remove it. It doesn't peel. Sticky at first but once dry you don't know it's there. Really need to be careful applying because if you make a mistake it's almost impossible to remove once it dries. It's obviously not going to moisturize but then again that's not the point of this lip paint. You can apply a lip gloss to effectively keep lips from drying out. I love the selection of colors but it's difficult finding the right color that compliments my skin tone based on the pictures. I love this color "Lover." Beautiful rich pink/red color complements my skin tone and eyes.

Beautiful pink shade that rally does not come off. I sleep in it and wake up with it on my lips. It is not incredibly moisturizing, but it is not as drying as other products. Definitely recommend

My package arrived 2 days early (awesome) because I was eager anyway to use it, I purchased the 112 composer and I gotta say I am a very picky person that has to have the exact color I'm used to wear for many many years, I have always used wet n wild cherry bomb/matte. If you are as pale or paler than me and you're wanting a my lips but better shade, dreamer is the one for you. I am so pale I could easily blend in with the snow. Casper the friendly ghost has more color than I do. Dreamer is the perfect shade. It also lasts a long time. My nana is in memory care at a senior living facility. She remembers people for the most part but gets easily confused and repeats the same things over and over. The first time she saw me wearing it all she kept saying was how perfect of a shade it was. I ate some oily (in the best way) fries and this lipstick stayed put. About a week later when I saw her again she still mentioned it being the perfect shade. For someone who has memory issues to remember a specific shade of lipstick, that definitely says something. With all that being said, if you're thinking about getting it...add it to your cart now!

Okay, so I don't wear lipstick because it usually just smears off because I sweat constantly or I'm munching on something and I get over it. But let me tell you, I got white girl wasted and did the deed with my partner and then ate and THEN fell asleep. I woke up. And it was still on!! So, definitely keeping it for life. Amazing lipstick! The only thing I will complain about is that it's a little drying after it dries sometimes a bit sticky. But other than that, highly recommend!
