Incredibly creamy. I got 002 “Maybe It’s...” and it is very flattering. For references, if you’re already using L’Oreal, this one is going to be pretty close to Nature Blush, albeit a bit brighter and more on the red side while Nature Blush is more on the warm, earthy side. Glides on really well, has this vanilla‒shea butter, creamy feel and smell, definitely appreciate this pleasant detail because the lipsticks I own don’t have this natural and light vanilla fragrance. Quality is outstanding. Does not dry your lips even though it is matte; formula is definitely more on the hydrating side even if it looks matte. If you need some extra dry lips prevention, just glide on some lip balm before use. Overall, really satisfied with this new Maybelline lipstick.

Awesome lipstick. Smooth, soft and not drying at all! The colour is perfect. One of the best formulas out there, hands down. This is my everyday lipstick now. It’s got a really subtle scent (not overpowering at all) that makes it feel so great while putting it on.

Hold the Door is a very pretty medium mauve color. It's pretty pigmented, and I actually prefer to blot it a bit (I love Maybelline's suggestion to try that) for a soft, stained (and still matte) look. The lipstick feels comfortable. I wouldn't say it's super hydrating, but it's kind of neutral-feeling on the lips. I really love that this does not have a strong scent the way many Maybelline lipsticks have. (This is honestly the first Maybelline lipstick I've bought in several years because the scent they've been using tends to irritate my nose and throat. This formula has a much milder, more subtle vanilla scent that doesn't bother me.) The packaging is cute, and I like how the cap snaps in place so you know it's secure. It's a softer formula, however, and didn't fare the best in delivery. The lipstick was put in a huge padded envelope, and somewhere along the way it jostled loose and the tip got dented and damaged within the case. I scraped that little bit of lipstick mush out of the top and still have most of the lipstick left. (It had the safety seal intact, too.) But the way it was packed makes me hesitant to try more, at least via Amazon. If I find it for $8 elsewhere I may try a couple others, however. I give five stars for a nice, affordable lipstick, but knocking off one for it being shipped loose in a huge envelope. Edited to add: I've since tried the satin formula. That's amazing, like a balm but with fantastic color payoff. It's unbelievably comfortable and silky and lasts way longer than I'd expect something that comfortable to last.

Fantastic long lasting lipstick. I purchased for a musical, where I need my makeup to last through dancing, sweating, and chugging water. This goes on smooth, smells incredible, and feels moisturizing. The color I got looks just slightly different from my natural lip and I love it. It's a great price especially for quality. Would highly recommend!

This is the kindest most gentle lippie yet has major staying power. Leaves a stain that lasts all day until you take it off. I have a sensitivity to almost all lipstick products. After wearing it, I have to give myself a couple of days for my lips to recover from slight swelling and itching. Not so with this one. Going back for more shades.

I love these creamy lipsticks. Having bought another color before, I ordered other two. They are hydrating and lips feel soft. You will have to retouch throughout the day, and they transfer, but I carry one with me all the time and have used it as moisturizer tbh. The colors are beautiful, specially for brown skin. I give 4 stars because they arrived in an amazon envelope and my lipstick shade103 “Make it work”was broken, stuck to the lid. I was able to put it back on but the mess is bad 😔 I do not have time or energy to ask for exchanges. Anyway. The lipstick is good and affordable, but the shipping can cause it to break off.
