After talking with mechanics will not be adding strut spacers will use longer raised struts instead. Will not be as economical, but I think, safer and longer lasting product was well-made looked great, but not for me will be doing some towing with this vehicle and during breaking there will be an extra level of stress on the lower control arm

The instructions were easy to follow and the spacers were of expected quality. I think it took me about 2.5 hours to do both sides, start to finish. I was not a fan of the hardware provided as the bolts were under strength compared to the bolts stock with truck. They provided grade 8.8 bolts and 10.9 were installed on the truck from the factory (about a 30 ksi tensile strength difference). I also believe the bolts could have been longer to accommodate the stack up of washers and nut. I recommend buying new and better hardware (grade 8 or 10.9/ increase length to 4 inches instead of 3.5 inches). I wish I would have know how close the installed bottom strut bolts would be to the 4x4 drive shaft. A little closer than I wanted and I may have done a spacer on the top of the strut if I knew that ahead of time. Lastly I did get the height I wanted (~2.5” lift) and the truck looks great, I’m glad I did it.

I installed these on my 2013 GMC Suburban XL. I found them to be easy to install myself., Took me an hour to do both sides. I am an old backyard mechanic so to me it was not hard to do. All most like changing out the shocks, maybe easier. And it helps to have the tools. I like the way it makes the thing set now.

Threads stripped on bolts before nut was torqued to spec. Had to cut brand new hardware in order to remove and replace with good quality hardware. Product support sends us to a totally different company with the same name. Very poor quality, spend a couple extra bucks and buy from a reputable company
