Where were these my whole life? A perfect product for someone who wants their cruiser/longboard to retain its value. Most of the damage to non-trick boards is in the nose and tail impacts. These fix that completely, and I hardly think about them even being there after getting used to them in just one or two rides. If I had to say one thing, it's that they should manufacture them with curvature from the jump, as there are subtle ripples if you use them on small longboard ends.     • Good way to protect the nose and tail of your deck... wish they came in more colors!

Fairly easy to install and they hold in place. These seem to push onto a wider (thicker?) deck as compared to the cheap eBay versions. Also the bendable metal of MaxPro stays in place whereas the one I got from eBay has the metal poking out from the rubber guard as well as the eBay one not having a clean straight cut. The only minor gripe I have about the MaxPro is that on the narrow longboards, it has wrinkle folds which is probably due to the smaller radius nose/tail as compared to a traditional skateboard. Still does its job and doesn't come off. I did read about the MaxPro scraping off some paint when removed, but I was able to adjust the positioning of it when installing and did not notice any damage. However, I would rather save the nose/tail from splitting over keeping a pristine underbody deck graphic. @MaxPro- great product, but please release these in other colors like: a less dark blue, neon green, orange, gray, yellow, purple, etc. ... show more

So I'm using this for my nice electric board which is a little beefy and the head of the board Is a tighter curve than this can handle so I had to get some sheet metal cuters and cut some triangles out of the center to get them to bend around the top and back of the board. Though they are incredibly tough and have stayed on perfect and tight and look perfectly normal ... show more

Awesome protection and does great protecting my board. I ended up trimming it and it still looks decent. be careful putting it on, if you put too much pressure on it (like I did with pliers) to get it to stay on the board it will scratch a line into the paint job on your board. This is due to the metal clips inside the protector, so be careful putting it on. ... show more
