These front upper control arms for my 2007 Mazda 6 arrived well-packaged in great condition. Comparing them to the originals, the quality and build look to be spot on, which made for a smooth installation. The ball joints feel solid, and everything lined up perfectly with the existing mounting points. For the price, these maXpeedingrods parts are a solid value and a great way to freshen up the front end without breaking the bank. So far, I have no complaints; they do exactly what they’re supposed to do.

These parts are a joke. Upper control arm is barely thicker than sheet metal. The ball joint taper is too small of a diameter and slides so far into the knuckle that the boot tears when tightening. Also you can see where the ball joint is pressed in, there is a gap where the splines protrude (see photo). I just got around to installing these parts and don't anticipate them lasting very long. Also not that the boots are hard rubber that will likely crack in a short time.

I recently had a brain-fart type of driveway ditch incident involving my 2010 Fusion and maybe some pieces of concrete... anyway, the whole thing tore up the underside of the front end of my car, and so off to the mechanic we went. I feel lucky to have run across this set of parts, because we needed them. I gave the box to my pretty-picky-and-cynical mechanic with orders to only use the parts if he thought they were up to snuff. He used them, said they were well-machined and fit perfectly. I've had no problems in the few months since we got the repairs done, so thank you to maXspeedingrods for helping me save some money while still getting a good repair. I'd order these again.

We used this kit for a 2009 Ford Fusion. Everything fit and mounted up right out of the box. We didn’t have to tweak or modify anything. The metal felt thick and had some weight to it. All of the holes and curves were clean and smooth. These were made well and are an impressive quality for the price. Definitely trust this brand going forward!
