Whatever you do, don't follow the directions telling you to use the 2 clothes they give you to remove the dust. I did and they scratched my case. They are way to rough to be used on the clear plastic. Other then that. The case is great.

This is an elegant case that really catches the eye. The fact that it protects the hinge is important, and that functionality seems sound. The faceplate is Crystal clear to look through, and the whole thing seems well made. Only thing is, as sturdy as it is for its thickness, it does make me a touch concerned about taking it out into the rough and tumble, or even sitting in a kitchen with a tile floor where you might fall asleep in your seat and drop your phone. I had a previous case that was military, almost, in look, construction, and style. It was thick, heavy, and withstood more falls than I'd care to admit, and is still intact and in good repair, as is the phone within. Cosmetically it's beat up, which is why I was looking for a new case, but it's functionality hasn't been touched at all. THIS case, while I feel it would probably handle a few falls, seems a bit thin, and I'm uneasy as to finding out. I'm going to leave it on for a while, and will get back if anything interesting happens for me to add here, but aside for the aesthetics upgrade, I'd be lying if I said I felt comfortable about its impact resistance. Hoping I'm wrong though, and I'm probably about to find out, one way or another. If it's as strong as I hope it is, then it is a good deal for the asking price. Fingers crossed! ... show more

I love my fold 5, but the biggest issue I've had has been finding a good case. This little guy answered almost every issue Ive had with cases, and a small modification had it completely perfect. First up, this installs very easily. That's not necessarily unique, but it isn't a hard install process. If you can clean your front screen you can get this on. Secondly, I feel like there's enough shock absorption from the case materials, and they do not feel brittle. I think this means it will protect my phone reasonably well from dropping. Maybe not otter box levels, but I'm not otter box levels of klutz. Also very importantly, it does not add a ton of bulk to your phone. It's fairly slim, but not so slim to make me worry. The front protector, crucially, is low enough profile to not inhibit front screen typing. I've found many cases have too big a lip and interfere with the keyboard. This has enough lip that you can leave it face down on a table safely, but Ive never had issues with they keyboard. The small modification I mentioned involved me glueing some small magnets into the cavities on the hinge cover, and then putting a small piece of electrical tape over each of em. This enhances the snap-shut response of the hinge cover, which does a great job of keeping the front cover case aligned. I do not think this is necessary, but I wouldn't tell you not to do it either. Oh and the magsafe is excellent. Im not huge on wireless charging, but the car mounts this opens up is massive. Overall, I really like this case.
