This 14K rope chain looks every bit as good in person as it does in the pictures. The shine is what you want out of real gold, bright without looking fake, and it feels comfortable against the skin. The lobster clasp is sturdy and does not feel like it is going to pop open mid-day, which is exactly what you need in a chain you are going to wear often. It is a lightweight piece, so if you are expecting something thick and heavy, this is not that. But for a clean, everyday chain that will not tarnish or irritate your skin, it hits the mark. Packaging was a nice touch too; it came in a gift box with extras like a polishing cloth, which makes it feel like more than just jewelry pulled from a bag. For the price, I think it is a fair buy.
