These are great lightweight comfortable sunglasses. I love how, unlike my other Maui Jims, they have a foldable hinge to fit well in its case. Unlike my other sunglasses from other manufacturers, there is hardly any pressure on the sides of the head, which can create indentations or marks on the sides by the ears. They hold well enough without added pressure. The triangle case is also excellent because it folds flat when so you can slip it in a pocket without bulk. It can also hold a microfiber cloth when folded flat. The magnetic closure is a big bonus since no annoying button stucks out or bulky noisy velcro. The magnetic flap maintains its thiness. I've learned over the years that one type of sunglasses doesn't cut it for everything. Here a few things not to expect. Due to the very flexible and light frame, it can be very challenging trying to put these one with one hand because it lacks enough rigidity. So, putting them on with one hand is not recommended when you are driving or moving really fast on a vehicle or other transport. Although these are called "Sport" I don't recommend wearing these pricey glasses when it is very windy, like on a speedboat or jetski. Because they are very light, they can easily blow off and you can lose them. Understanding that the design of these sunglasses are to be easy on the face, they excellent for running, jogging, walking and other activities without much wind gusts or related jostling. They are very comfortable that you can wear them all day. My other pair of sunglasses will be used for other types of activities but they are not as comfortable as these. I’ve worn the Makaha for years. This is my new favorite. Super light, very comfortable. Doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any sunglasses at all. Notepads large enough to hold the glasses off my face with my flat Asian nose. It’s true, the frames are thin and flexible, so you need both hands to put on the sunglasses, but it’s worth the minor inconvenience. I want these in multiple colors with the crystal frame. I honestly forget sometimes that I’m even wearing my sunglasses they are so lightweight. I love the style and how much it protects my eyes in the sun. I’m planning on getting another pair in another color soon.

I purchased these because MJ discontinued the Titanium Sport and I got tired of replacing the lens on my 2 pairs that I've had forever (Titaniums were the ONLY ones that would not give me a headache). This gel-like style is pretty light but a bit flemsy. I will continue to replace my lens on my Titanium but these will work as a backup. ... show more
