  • Perfect Family Card Game – Fun for All Ages!
My 5-year-old absolutely loves UNO, and this Toy Story UNO game has made it even better for our family. My 3-year-old always wants to join in, and while he can’t quite grasp the full rules yet, the Toy Story characters really help him stay engaged and feel included in the fun. It’s become such a great way for both kids to play together, laugh, and feel like they’re part of the same game. The familiar characters make it more exciting for my younger child, and it keeps the older one happy too. This has quickly become a favorite family game night staple in our house! ... show more

  • The Same Uno We All Know & Love, With a Toy Story 5 Twist. The Same Uno We All Know & Love, With a Toy Story 5 Twist.
We've had Uno so many times over the years, and it's always been a favorite game of ours to play as a family (if you have kids, you know why we've had it so many times over the years, because kids lose cards). This version of Uno is adorable AND comes in a really nice tin. Great for organization, and hopefully we will have no more lost cards too (the kids always struggled getting them to fit back in the boxed versions). This is almost entirely the same as regular Uno, except for the various Toy Story characters on the cards, AND the addition of the "Fully Charged" rule/action cards. They bring a new (but very simple) game play; there's battery action cards, and when these are played, everyone has to add up the cards in their hand that have a battery icon. Whoever has the most battery cards is "Fully Charged" and therefore safe, but everyone else must draw one card. There's a few other notes to this as well, but that's the gist of it. It's new to us, but is so simple that it doesn't ruin Uno for us! We've had a great time playing this, and even though most of my kids are in their teens now, they love the nostalgia of the characters, and so do I! ... show more

  • Just in Time for the Movie Release
We were so excited to get this UNO Toy Story 5 edition to play with our toddler, and as usual, Mattel doesn’t disappoint. Although our toddler is a bit young to really work with the rules, they absolutely love slapping the cards down and naming all the characters. This version of the game includes a special rule, where you draw cards based on how many battery cards you have in your hand (for those playing with older kids or adults). The gameplay is an interesting variation on this classic, and the cards are the quality you’ve come to associate with Mattel—durable, designed for play, and great value. The cards are easy to use out of the box, especially if you are just in it to enjoy slapping them on the table (but the game design is great for Toy Story lovers as well). ... show more

  • Fun Toy Story Version of Classic UNO Game Fun Toy Story Version of Classic UNO Game
This Toy Story UNO set was the perfect way to introduce my kindergartener to the classic game since he already loves all of the characters from the movies. After watching all four Toy Story films, he was so excited to recognize everyone on the cards and immediately wanted to play. The gameplay is still the classic UNO everyone knows, but it includes a fun new card and special rule that isn't confusing and easy for my 5 year old to follow. Even though the game is recommended for ages 7 and up, the rules are simple enough that my 5-year old picked it up quickly with just a little help. The cards are made from sturdy cardstock that feels comparable to other Mattel card games and should hold up well with regular use. One of my favorite features is the collectible tin case. It keeps everything organized and is much better than dealing with torn cardboard boxes, loose rubber bands, and bent cards although with a kindergartener, a few creases are probably inevitable eventually. Overall, this has been a great addition to our family game nights, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite games to play together. ... show more

  • Classic uno plus one new rule Classic uno plus one new rule
My family is a big game family, so of course Uno is on heavy rotation. The deck that we’ve been using the most is the one that includes blank cards that you could add your own rules to and I can’t tell you how annoyingly long a game lasts when the custom rules are “Draw 10” (or more) and there’s a card that shuffles and re-deals everyone’s hands. Needless to say, I was ready for a more classic version of Uno. That’s what I thought I was getting with this Toy Story deck and I mostly did. I think there’s only one new rule, but I admittedly only looked up the rules for the new wild card. I almost docked a star for that, but then I realized it wasn’t that big of a deal. Now, for my impressions of this set. I love the collectors tin that it comes in! It’s much easier to replace the cards inside than the traditional box. The cards are adorable and maintain that traditional quality that I’ve come to expect from this brand. My nephews and nieces are going to be so excited to play the next time they come over! ... show more

  • Classic game with a new card for an exciting twist.
Uno is one of those classic games that you just think they can't come up with anything new for. It is great that it is branded with Toy Story and the cards have all your favorite characters on them. The did find a way to make it just a bit different and just a touch more fun that the classic game. These is a new card that forces everyone to draw a couple cards. This could be strategic, and you are getting into a competitive spot in the game. The cards are the usual durable thick paper stock with a glossy finish. The tin is nice as it can help keep your cards in top condition. The set might be a bit more than your average set, but it is a good value for the money. The addition of the new card and the tin make up for it. I would recommend this to anyone that has a love for Toy Story of just wants to have a new twist on a classic game. ... show more

  • UNO for Toy Story fans & everyone else
This review is for Mattel Games UNO Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Card Game with Movie-Inspired Deck for Kid & Family Nights, Parties, Travel & Camping. Storage tin says: ages 7+, 2 to 10 players, conforms to ASTM F963 [Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety]; MC 684173-A, UKCA, CE; made in China. This product is a version of the popular UNO card game, Toy Story 5 branded. It comes in a colorfully-printed metal storage tin that contains: the playing cards and an instruction booklet. This game is similar to the original UNO game except it has Toy Story 5 graphics and a unique rule specific to this version. The playing cards are made of typical laminated cardstock with different colors and numbers and a matching-colored oval surrounding an image of a Toy Story 5 character. The game is fun and easy to play for a variety of ages. You match cards by color and number, to try to get rid of all your cards. When you have one card left, you yell "UNO" and try to go out to win. This version has some cards with battery icons (with differing charge levels in battery), corresponding to the special “Fully Charged” rule – when drawn, the player with the most cards is safe ("fully charged") and others must draw cards. The storage tin makes the game easy to store (vs. trying to put cards back in a deck-sized box) and easy to take on-the-go, including to the cabin or park. The tin has an insert that holds two halves of the deck; thus, the tin is not very compact (measures 5 3/8" w x 6 3/8" h x 1 1/2" d) and could have been smaller for easier travel and storage (to fit in smaller spaces), since the insert will likely get thrown out over time. A staple for game night, home or away. ... show more
